Before I get to this year, a review of last season.
It was a poorly executed regular season, finishing at 41-37.
With juice factored in, a slight profit.
Very disappointing since college is where I usually make most of my money and have my largest betting unit size.
But then came the Bowl season, where I excel.
Recapping my bowl plays I had a record of 7-1 with the caveat that I submitted an article on Louisiana Tech that got lost in the editor's mailbox and was not posted.
But while reviewing my articles from last season I saw that I made note that I have two plays left outstanding for the bowl season, listing Louisiana Tech as one of them. They easily covered so my postseason record was 8-1.
Combined season record 49-38.
Let's do it again this year.
Record: 0-0
My WF1 model finished last season with the record of 25-41, providing me with a very nice 62% Fade.
Broken down into the subcategory of Hm/Rd,
I get:
Hm 8-13, 62%
Rd 17-28, 62%
Same percentage either way but it's worth tracking the subcategories because usually you get one play that's stronger than the other.
Last year's numbers are totally irrelevant as we start the new season but I do have this for today - WF1 says NC State and Hawaii should be the Favorites in their games today.
I bought the early spot because it's been toooo long since I've had a college football game to bet on and there's NO WAY I'm not going to have action this morning.
I'll make a decision on playing the later spot after the morning results are in.
Good luck to all this college football season...
