Week Nine Updates and Added Plays

I'm usually pretty good with my buys (went to buy, went to wait) but I think I've screwed up on one or two of them lately.

Tonight's game opened at 52 and was down to 49 when I wrote my article and suggested waiting a little longer.

Waited too long, the Buy Backs started and it's now up to 51.
So that's my number on tonight's Troy/James Madison game.

I've got a couple live dogs I'm going to play from the spot that I used for Virginia Tech last week. Don't have my charts in front of me but I think it's 2-6 now, a solid fade and two games qualify this week.
I'll have a write-up later today or tomorrow morning at the latest on them.

Important Update:

A friend asked me to cover his action on the Notre Dame first quarter bet that I wrote up yesterday.

I asked why he doesn't get it at one of his books and he said he can't find it at -7 and the places that have it at -7' don't let you buy the hook.

This morning I checked four major books and not one of them let you buy the hook off and they're all at -7'.
I don't play quarters so I was unaware of this.

I went back to where I got the bet, Stations, and they're still at -7 though the price has gone up to -135.

I do not give out bets or lines that people can't get.
This isn't a vanity exercise for me, I give picks and analysis and background info on how I handicap to try and help bettors.
Since most of my readers aren't in Vegas and can't get to one of the Station's properties I'm removing the Notre Dame Q1 bet from my card.
I still have the bet in my pocket so it'll count on my balance personally but not on my record. I'm not going to take a W for a bet most people can't get.


It's Saturday 6:00 a.m. West Coast and I'm going to do a final check on some numbers to see if I have anything else to qualifies.
