as i said earlier, the Sox smell a sweep and it's an absolute gift to get one of the best big game pitchers of the era in Schilling at only -108. the Sox are clearly the better all-around team IMO, and just seem to have the Angels' number.

i'm gonna do something that's really not smart in playoff baseball and that's bet the favorite RL. the number of 1 run games as a percentage rises dramatically from the regular season to the post-season. i just don't think Jake Westbrook can contain a Yankees lineup that is ready to break out. i see this series going 5, and the Yankees make a statement today.

think that's gonna do it today. even if the Indians end up winning, i'll still win my Indians series bet and make money in the situation, so it's a no lose situation there. only thing that would **** me would be the Yankees winning by 1 run, which they probably will now...lol.

Sox are lookin good Hoosier. Ha, I can't believe the commentators making excuses for the Angels. Our team isn't banged up. GA is missing one game and Colon still has problems with his shoulder, and now we are a "banged up ball club"? GA isn't a power hitter, if it wasn't for a hot streak in August he would still have less than 10HRs. So who cares if he is out, I rather have the contact hitter with speed up there in Willits.

This is Angel's small ball, and they can't get it done against the Sox.

The game is far from over, but I'm glad you didn't go with the Angels to win it all prop :thumbs:

hmmm this game is just ridiculous. Yankees -225? what a joke. i hate the Yankees so much. i see a lot of people on the OVER tonight but i think just the opposite. Wang is a MUCH different pitcher at home than on the road and i think Wang will be helped by the 3 days rest, as it will result in his sinker staying low to hitters. he got shelled in Cle b/c he was was amped up, everything was up in the strike zone. i'm really scared to make this play though, as Paul Byrd is just sooooooooooo ****ty...it's not even funny. the Yankees could easily put up 11 tonight by themselves but for some reason i think they only put up 4 or 5 and Paul Byrd steps it up and pitches somewhat well with post-season motivation, with the Indians only managing 2 or 3 at best off Wang. you know the Indians won't get a thing off Joba or Mariano. gonna go with the UNDER in this one.
