      curious as to how you became a Purdue fan being from Texas? i'd think most people from Texas have never even heard of Purdue...

          I am from Ohio.....Cleveland area. Went to Purdue in early 80s. Lots of PU grads down here in Texas....see them every day driving.

          Purdue has a pretty decent following down here. Many recruits including Brees.

          Saw IU and Purdue were both ranked in top 30. Cannot remember the last time that happened.
