Royals become a serious contender after they surprise everyone and sign Barry Bonds, Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire and Rafael Palmeiro, and make trades for Bret Boone, Sammy Sosa, and whatever other roid heads they can scrounge up to give it one last go around.

They sign Roger Clemens to anchor the pitching staff, and then go out and get Pete Rose unbanned and sign him to be the manager.

On a side note, word has it that Rose will be offering dime lines on Royals games this year...

I hope you're right about your WS pick and the Jays winning the wild card. But I just cant see Toronto winning the wild card. I still see NY, Bos, Cleve, and of course my Tigers being better than Toronto this year. It would be nice to see someone else in the playoffs though.
