Not much time but Padres have squandered leads last 2 games against the Cubs and they are itching to beat the "best" team in the league, record wise. Maddux is 12-4 all-time vs. the Cubs and he will make up for his loss at Wrigley field this season. Lilly is 4-0 all-time vs. the Padres but he has not been so stellar this year. Padres have done as poorly at home as the Cubs have on the road but Padres will not want to be swept in their own park.
