Nice 2-0 yesterday with the Astros, going with a pretty unpopular play tonight...

Considered the Padres, Dodgers & Mets 1st5, but in the end I decided to back the M's. Without looking at concensus, I would be willing to bet the Angels look like the "easiest" play today, facing the woeful M's & Washburn who has been very hittable. However, the Angels are 2-4 in Garland's last 6 home starts. This is also a possible flat spot for the halos, coming off a sweep of the Yankees (though they have been the best team all season long). While the Angels are obviously the better team, Garland laying that kind of chalk is reason enough to take a stab with the Mariners. Hopefully they can generate enough run support to keep it tight. The last time the M's faced Garland, they had 12 hits, 6runs (3er) in 5 ip, that'll do :beer2:
