I don't make future wagers that I have to wait like 7 months to win/lose, lol, but I am almost inclined to think ST Louis under 84.5 +100 is a solid play.

Mainly because their picthing staff is such a big ?

I mean seriously, these guys win the World Series, and now they're only asked to be 3 games over .500 for the regular season? Something stinks there....and actually, I think there will be money to be made fading the Cards this year, at least early, since as a World Series champion, their lines will surely be inflated at least for a while, and i personally think they are a team on the decline, who got their title just in time as their "window" was closing at a really fast rate.

Could be a really down year for them IMHO, at least by their recent standards.

How can Cleveland have the same odds as KC to win the AL Central? +305 seems like a good price to take a shot on a young up and comming team. Of course I like the Tigers:beer2:

I posted the numbers when they came out last week or so in that "other" place, and we had a decent discussion on it. I haven't made my picks yet but am leaning on:

          Twins OVER
          D'Backs OVER
Mets OVER (it went up a couple games tho so not sure)
          Angels UNDER

The AL CENTRAL numbers are nuts all clumped together as such.

Stiif - Gotta remember they only won 83 games last season. It's amazing to think that since they won the damn World Series, bt everyone forgets how awful they were in the regular season because of it. I like the UNDER too. Edmonds is a year older, Eckstein is already hurt, and their pitching is an atrocity (especially the bullpen with Izzy being a question still). They've moved Wainright to a starting job and I think he will be nails, but after Carp and him, they have NOTHING. They should've resigned Suppan, and Weaver is a moron for leaving Dave Duncan (who turned him around).

Yeah, I agree there....gotta believe Chisox/Tigers are the favourites but the Tribe could surprise for sure...

I kinda of lean towards the Tigers because I think Sheffield is going to have a MONSTER year. He makes their lineup so much more potent because Leyland can have Sheff and Maggs together. I think Leyland structures the lineup wrong and needs to get Granderson and his 175 K's out of the leadoff spot and put the contact hitters (even if it sacrifices speed) ahead of the Guillen, Sheffield, and Maggs.

I know Leyland won't do this but I would go (bottom 4 ordered that way so the two lefties aren't abck to back):

                Polanco
                Rodriguez
                Guillen
                Sheffield
                Ordonez
                Monroe
                Casey
                Inge
                Granderson

anyone here play win totals for the year

Looking at a few season win totals and was hoping to tail a couple but I've yet to see anyone play/post them

Rockies over 74.5 -145 Just feel they get closer to 80 with all the young talent they have

Twins over 83.5 -130 Starting pitching besides Johan has me a little worried but a great young lineup should make up for some of the questionable starting pitching. Also feel they have one of the better pens in the AL. They won 96 last year after struggling the first two months.

Reds Under 77.5 -155 No real reason here. Feel the Central should be a little stronger as the Cubs,Pitt and Mil are improving

I dont play them much, I dont like to have open bets sitting in my account for a long period of time. I just use it somewhere else. I think they can be profitable but its just not my thing.

                    gl on your totals
                    NCAAF: 50-39-5 (+6.35 units)
                    NFL: 36-35-6 (-2.00 units)
                    NHL: 4-8-0 (-2.80 units)
                    NCAAB: 7-4 (+1.75 units)

Wainwright, Carp, and Reyes will all be good, but if Kip "Pussy Bitch" Wells and Braden Loper(A reliever) are expected to round out that rotation then I can't see them winning more than 75 games. That rotation will get eaten alive in Wrigley and will have a lot of trouble taking 2/3 on the road at any of Pittsburgh, Houston, Milwaukee, or Cincy.
