Is it me, or is just about everyone on the Giants opening day roster over 35 years old? Bonds, Dave Roberts, Rich Aurilia, Omar Vizquel, etc....WTF?
Twins -128
Baltimore has sucked on the road since I can remember. Cabrera has good stuff, but I don't think he has his head screwed on straight. He's never lived up to potential, and I am fading him and his ****ty O's today in a spot they have historically not fared well in. IMO it only adds to the road woes of the O's having to play the at Minnesota, who is a team who has a higher rate of success at home than most teams.
Colorado -134
Livan is past his prime IMO. I watched him pitch often with the Nats last year before he was traded, and he has no velocity left (not that he ever had a ton of it to begin with). I expect the Rockies to tee off on his finesse pitches today.
Francis on the other hand has much more upside, and has shown potential to be dominant at times, and I believe the Rockies have the more potent offense as well.
Public is all over this play, which I don't especially care for, but I think for good reason in this case. Rockies should have the advantage tonight, so in my opinion the chalk is justified.
Seattle -115
I believe Oakland is going to struggle to score, and end up disappointing alot of their backers this year, while the M's should be far improved. Gonna grab this potential steal while the public perception of the A's being good and the M's being bad has it available.
