I can't stand Dunn, but getting rid of him and replacing him with Willy .237 Tavares is hardly progress.
Taveres had an off year. Get him on base like he did with the Astros and that is a good start. There are lots of decent young bats on the team. Dunn is a 40 hr waste case.

On the pitching side, I think Cueto, Arroyo, Harang and Volquez are a nice set of starters and Owings is decent and has a good bat. (Speaking of Arroyo, this guy is the first athlete I have ever heard of getting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome....what the hell is he doing to get that?) Rhodes is older than dirt but if he can pitch as well as last season, that will be good.

That to me doesn't add up to better offense. Neutral to me.

I think the Reds are a .500 team at best and probably about a 74 win club at worst. somewhere in the middle IMO is where they finish. 78-84 is my prediction.

Yeah...I have the White Sox LAST in their division this year...

As for the Reds...seems like a very trendy pick for them to cause some noise this year...read many an article with them as a team to watch. Usually that means they will stink....lol.

    Bold prediction.

Tigers will not be a .500 team.

    Reds will be.

Red Sox over Mets in Series.

If Carl Pavano can not hit the DL, the Indians have a shot.

    Twins over Mets

Refuse to pick an AL East team, although MLB's three best lineups could be in that division. lol. I think the Twins surprise some people this year winning the AL Central, and (hopefully) upsetting the Beasts of the East in October. Mets shored up their bullpen.
