    adding:

    SF Giants +169

    1 unit

I don't understand why everyone is laying such a huge line for the LAD here. Where's the big advantage for LAD? It looks like about an even matchup to me, or damn close to it.

You'd think it would be unlikely a team would get completely shut down 2 days in a row....yet the ASStros have just 1 hit and zero runs thru 6, trying to better their stellar performance of 3 hits and zero runs thru the full 9 yesterday. What a trash team.

      adding:

      NY Mets rl +100
      Brewers -144
      KC Royals -123

      2 units each

      Brewers rl +150
      Royals rl +170

      1/2 unit each

Walter Silva sucks, and so do the Padres. I think they'll find the Mets a bit tougher competition than the stiffs they face off against in the NL West, especially the day after a cross country trip. I'd be shocked if the NYM didn't completely tee off on this Silva clown, and the only reason I didn't play the over too is because much like Pittsburgh today, I'm afraid the Mets will have to get most of or all of the runs on their own, as I don't really see the SD offense being sharp after traveling cross country....and they're not as good as they've looked the last few games anyway, imho.

Carmona sucks and gets way too much oddsmaker respect for a half decent run like 2 years ago, but apparently folks forget how much he blew prior to that, and are overlooking how much he's blown since. KC is the better team, and finally should have some momentum going after beating NYY yesterday. Tough way to start the season, @ CHW, where the White Sux are always tough, and then home for NYY. Schedule seems to get a little lighter today....at least the opposing pitching, with the Tribe having the worst staff in baseball so far.

Volquez sucks and gets too much respect for a great first half of a season last year. The guy blew when he was with Texas, and he blows now that the NL caught up with him. Gallardo is the real deal if you ask me. This line is in the -140 to -150 range for a reason....

That's about the extent of it.

It amazes me that the Phils/Nats have 5 runs on 6 hits when I don't care if the game goes over, and that damn Flubs/Brewers game had 13 runs on 13 hits last night, including the Flubs having 8 runs on just 5 hits, and then when I'm on an over, they can only muster up 6 runs on 15 hits. 1 run for each 2.5 hits. That's pathetic

GL today Stif! Royals are a definite play for me tonight, though I'll likely opt for the 1st5.

IMO instead of the rl plays (or maybe in addition to), you should be looking into 1st5 wagers. You seem to be able to isolate advantages in the pitching matchups. You have solid reasoning for why a pitcher may have an advantage, or could be overvalued. So why not look into the 1st5? No stress due to blown leads by the bullpen. I also like that laying the -.5 you can get pretty solid value. Grienke-.5+110 tonight

Well, Rusch didn't matter, as the COL offense did zero today. As has been the case mostly all year, the Flubs offense has been unable to hit very well or capitalize on chances, but the play is still a loser due to the ineptness of the COL offense. I figured they would be able to get some off Lilly pad, but apparently that was not the case.

Whatever, **** happens. Gotta move on.

              Adding these last 2:

              Arizona -102

              2 units

              Oakland +144

              1.5 units

Knock on wood, bullpens haven't been an issue for me this year. I lost a couple late, but also won a couple late. Wasn't really a big issue for me last season either.

The main thing is that I'm trying to stay away from playing teams whom i have deemed to have a ****ty bullpen completely the last 2 seasons, and sometimes a pretty nice part of the basis for my play is actually because i feel like i have a bullpen advantage.
