As a new poster here I also feel compelled to reply... not because I felt insulted or singled out... but just to set the record straight. I have never posted on this forum (or any other forum) under a different name. I just registered for the first time ever this past week. I lurked ahwhile unregistered and it seemed like a pretty reasonable place to share your thoughts. Plus I wanted to see if I could handle making picks public and tracking them and if that would affect my analysis.

I will also point out that I too am a "real life" poster. If I don't get my picks posted before I leave for work... then I often don't get home until a half hour before the first early games... if that early. Thus my picks may come in right before those early games start... giving the impression that I'm just waiting to see what others are doing before I post my picks. That's never the case. I put my picks in on the sportsbook... then come over here to post.... never the other way around.

That's not to say I'm not interested in other peoples analysis... I am and feel I can learn from their takes. Overall I find the discussion interesting and will be interested to see what happens as others come and go... and reappear.... :thumbs:

no but sersiously, i don't think stif would talk about any of us long time posters like this ever...he's one of the best here in sniffing out the bs posters..

I can see both point of views here...I can see what stif is talking about, and I know he wouldn't bad mouth longtime members here, if they're on the up and up....I can also see hackman and ncsucharlies point of view about just b/c you don't post regularly doesn't mean you're trying to hide losses, etc...

ok, i'm done here...just wanted to hopefully lighten the mood a little...

and one more thing..i haven't read every line of every response to this thread, but I think i read enough to get the basic jist of it...

and plus, i'm in a great mood...I don't know what I did right to get that big comeback win for tampa bay today..it was my biggest play this year, and I thought I had lost it after like 3 innings...just checked a little while back and they fckn pulled it out...so i'm feeling pretty good about that now...ok seriously, i'm done now...gl on the rest of your plays stif and everyone else! :beerbang:

lol, we turned this thread into a soap opera! That was a hell of a comeback by the Rays today, congrats on hitting that one, bookiekilla. I didn't play that game, but I always seem to be on the other side of those (or maybe I just remember those more!!).
