Doing a 2 game parlay for now. Will probably be adding a pick to this later tonight:
Phillies @ Nationals - o/u = 7, taking the over (-115)
Why: Even though I am a Phillies fan, looking at this objectively, Halladay seems to be struggling with some fatigue at this point. In his last couple of starts, he has given up 3-4 earned runs. With the Phillies on the brink of clinching, Halladay may not pitch for his usual 7-9 solid innings. I expect Halladay to give up 1-3 runs, turning it over to the shaky middle relivers of the Phillies (ie Herndon, Mathieson, Baez). Also, I don't expect Lannan to pitch a gem, as he surrenders a fair amount of walks, and the Phillies have an extremely opportunistic offense.
Yankees @ Blue Jays - o/u = 9.5, taking the over (-115)
Why: The combined ERA of Burnett and vs the Jays, and of Rzepczynski vs the Yanks is over 20. I am not saying that the final score will have a total of over of 20 runs, just simply that when these teams play, and these pitchers pitch, runs get scored. I'm not all about o/u's but I like this matchup.
