Definitely not going to mess up the mojo today. Lots of heavy faves on the board, and parlaying them all together only nets a bit over +300. I'm not very astute on totals (14-8-1) so I play them rarely, but going to take a pass today... maybe watch a game later, but we'll see.
    NFL 17: 45-47-2 // 48.91% // -10.12
    MMA: 247-332-2 // 42.66% // -6.04
    MLB 17: 151-140-8 // 51.89% // +5.65 ROR // +42.13
    NCAAF 17: 63-49-2 // 56.25% // +6.80

Lots of people out there had a poor showing yesterday because of the heavy faves (-200+) going 2-3. Sometimes you really just need to take a pass.

Let's try to stay away from those types of bets in the future!!!

      Tuesday:

Philadelphia Phillies (Worley) -115 for one unit. Worley has only given up 10 hits in his last three outings, and has gotten outstanding run support 5.7 rpg. He's had a little command issue with 8 BB but I'm thinking Vegas is screaming for Lincecum backers here. Philadelphia has been outstanding at home - 37-16 and you have a great bet imo.

Pittsburgh Pirates (Karstens) +175 for one unit. Pitt knocks off Atlanta last night as a huge dog, can they do it again? I'm going with the hotter pitcher here, even as another huge dog. Karstens has been hot lately, even though he's a pitch-to-contact pitcher, I like this price here. Pedro Alvarez is back in the bigs for the Bucs and here's to hoping this stud can be the power bat they need for the pennant race. (Whoa, Pitt in a race??!)

Leaning toward the A's later tonight, but we'll see if I make a play...

Taking the card off today, as I'd try to most likely steam because of the Pirates long-inning, missed-or-correct call late last night.

        Not good.

          Thursday:

Looks like as the lines get juicier and juicier, I'll have to dip my toes into totals...

Washington/Florida u9 for one unit. Both teams riding the overs this year, but we have an ump at the dish who has the under 9-0-1 in his last ten.

Tampa Bay Rays (Davis) -110 for one unit. Plain and simple - like the Rays to avoid the sweep here.

Minnesota Twins (Baker) +135 for one unit. Baker is ridiculously hot - no ER in last three starts, WHIP under 0.9... yet is a dog here with the Twins managing to take the last two games in Texas. Will the Twins take the series or will Texas manage a split?

2-1 last night, with the Twins getting a great effort from Baker, however matched by the outing by Harrison. Oh well.

Really do not like today's card, but lean Mets, Giants, Cubs, Rangers, but that's a lot of juice and not confident in either of them. How will Chien Ming Wang do in his first start? Collmenter on the road, Garza better than Jackson in his first start in STL? Ogando juice versus the Jays - they always play Texas tough...

              One early game for Saturday:

Blue Jays (Mills) +0.5 -140 - first 5 bet for one unit. Mills first start, Rangers not familiar with him, lots of regulars out for Texas.

Blue Jays (Mills) +100 - for one unit. Beltre and Cruz out for injury, Hamilton and Andrus with the day off.

Well then, that didn't go over so hot. We'll see what we can do with the evening games:

Cleveland Indians RL +110 for one unit. KC atrocious on the road, and Masterson 2-0 against KC this year.

                San Francisco (Bumgartner) -115

Thanks Joakim Soria for that phat pitch that LaPorta crushed for a moose win!
