Tecap: 1-2
Record: 4-5*
Review:
Had Cindric over Hocevar.
With just 20 laps to go Cindric is in the middle of the pack.
But that's okay because Hocevar was three laps down.
I'm going to win this one, but then . . . NASCAR happens.
Somebody (I don't remember who) goes into a spin and takes Cindric out with him.
Hocevar finishes 24 Cindric finishes 25.
“$%@!”!!
Briscoe over Logano (loss)
Brisco commits an unforced error, spins out and hits the wall. Probably wouldn't have mattered because Logano won the race.
Caution Flags Ov 11' (win)
Today, Slim Pickens, don't see any matchups I like, and not a single one featuring Miss Vroom's top choice Larson.
Looks like I'm on my own this week.
I took Hamlin -115 over Blaney and then, in a change of pace, (because I usually bet the Over and root for crashes) I'm taking the Under on caution Flags today, at 8'. The track averages 7' so I'd need two more than that to win on the Over.
Ahhh, you know what - screw that!
These aren't investment plays, just small money for fun, and what fun is watching a NASCAR race if you can't root for spin outs, blown tires, blown engines, and crashes??!!
That was a rhetorical question but the answer is NO FUN!
In the last Spring race here there were 10 caution Flags.
Gimme the Over!
My bets:
Hamlin -115 over Blaney
Total Number of Caution Flags Ov 8', -115
(I should probably wait to buy the Over since I expect money will come on the Under but it's small money so what the hell.)
*I'll make some time this week to add a dollar amount to my record since most NASCAR bets aren't standard 110/100.
Record: 4-5*
