Some good data here. Past two years, the Warriors seem to either pull a double loss or double win, the only exception being the push against the Clippers. Tonight there was a low 5½ point swing in the spread after winning last night outright as an 8 point dog. The line opened at 1, but money has been flowing on the Lakers like always does. We all know Gasol is out til Wednesday, and they already split the first series this year. With the Nuggets at their heels and with the Dirk-less Mavs in striking distance, I think the Warriors will be looking to make a push so they aren't sitting in the #8 seed. The Warriors remaining schedule is pretty tough minus a game against Memphis and one against Seattle. Seems likely they'll get back to form tonight and do their usual double cover in back to back against the same team. I think many people think it's impossible to beat the Lakers on back to back games, but I've found the best thing to expect with the Warriors is the unexpected. Not sure if this is my POD, just thinking outloud since I had some free time. Comments always welcome.
