Atlanta went 3-0 at home vs boston avg MOV---> 6

Boston went 2-0 su/ 1-1 ats vs cleveland avg MOV---> 10
... in game 1, cle shot 30% and lost by 4
... in game 2, cle shot 35% and lost by 16
... cle has been a solid 45% shooting team, but shot like **** in game1, and fell apart 2, 3, & 4 quarters in game 2.

Cleveland went 1-0 at home vs boston avg MOV-----> 24

If the avg MOV for boston Road vs Home, against Atlanta, is +19, and avg MOV Road Vs Home, against Cleveland is -14, How can you find value in Boston winning at all?

Thanks Daws! Glad I was patient through the rough patch, hoping to keep the streak going tonight.

A couple thoughts on tonight's game. The Cavs easily took game 3, leading by as many as 26 points. They outrebounded the C's, got to the ft line 9 more times, & were 10-19 from behind the 3 point line. Not to mention they shot 54%! Just on the MOV alone I have to think that the C's will come to play. Doc had his team watch the 1stq of the loss, & IMO that should be enough for them to put forth a very strong defensive performance. Definitely liking the under for this one... I was glad I layed off the game 3 total but I expect this one to be a return to form in how these two teams normally play when they face off. Take a look at the totals by quarters for the series...

Tonights totals by quarter (from 5D) break down as follows...

So judging from the series playing on the under in every quarter would have yielded a wonderful 9-2-1 ats! The public often looks at the numbers in the low 180's/ high 170's & thinks hell one big quarter & it goes over. Well, given the numbers & how I feel it will be a defensive battle, I have to endorse the under. Playing it in quarters, as IMO even if the total goes over, a profit can still be made.


Now onto the side. Home teams have had the advantage throughout the second round. Just based on this it is very tough to make plays on road teams. However, I think this is a spot where the C's stand up & make a statement to the rest of the East. I know I'm looking ahead, but the Celtics must win a road game! No way they go to the finals if they don't win on the road. Given how I feel the C's step up early, I will be on them 1stq. I am also playing them on the alternate line, & before you call me greedy, take a look at the Margin of victory for these playoffs. My suggestion to anyone on the Cavs tonight is to put a little on the Cavs-6.5 +190 as well. And that my friends is the method to the madness of how I'm playing tonight's game.....
