    2010 Futures:

    Regular Season Wins:

    Miami Heat u64.5 +115

    - I'm hoping for a slow start due to meshing, or that this team is one injury away from players playing heavy minutes, on an already pretty thin roster outside of the 2 big signings. High hopes from everyone, so I'm going the other way.

    New Jersey Nets o24.5 -120

    - Looking for a bounceback year from Devin Harris, new coach, new ownership + Brooke Lopez taking his game further, hope that 25 is reachable... just asking for double the wins from last year's record loss season lol.

    New York Knicks o38.5 -120

    - I think Stoudemire + Felton = at least a 10 game improvement from last year's wins total. If Anthony Randolph and Gallinari will provide some scoring help, maybe this will hit!

    Chicago Bulls o46.5 -125

    - Defensive minded coach, with Noah and Brewer (who IMO is a decent wing defender)... I think this team will be hard to score on. It'll be hard with Boozer out, but last year I felt they really did get out of the gate slow, and Del Negro was working without any support from the front office, so it was actually a down year for them after raising expectations with that epic 7 game series v. the Celtics from the 2009 Playoffs. Looking for moderate improvement here with a coaching change, and some key players (Boozer) needing to be healthy later on.

    Los Angeles Clippers o36.5 -115

    - I think Del Negro is a competent coach, I could be wrong, but he certainly has to be a welcome change compared to Mike Dunleavy lol. They've got weapons if Griffin doesn't get hurt, and Davis doesn't check out mentally just because his club isn't winning. Gordon needs to stay healthy too, lots of IFs, but I like them to exceed 37 here hopefully.

    Southeastern Division winner:

    Orlando Magic +300

    - If for any reason the Miami Heat don't end up being the "Greatest Team of All Time", then this is good value for Orlando, who've won this division for the last 3 seasons. Can't ask for better than +300, in the off chance Karma's a btch! lol

    Southwestern Division winner:

    San Antonio Spurs +140

    - Homer pick, but it's a tossup between them and Dallas, unless Houston or New Orleans surprise. Memphis will give people fits, but I just don't see elite yet from them..

    2010/2011 NBA Champion:

    San Antonio Spurs +2000

    - Lots of IFs and too much Homerism here lol, but IF: Jefferson finally learns how to play within their system, IF Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker stay healthy, IF Splitter is as good as advertised, and the bench of Hill and Blair continue to give boosts, this is as good a value as any for a team with the pedigree to win it all.

    Oklahoma City Thunder +1400

    - I like this team's chances, taking a shot at +1400. Young, play the right way, have an alpha dog super scorer in Durant, Westbrook is no slouch, and the rest of the team has a role. They play defense, they kept up with the Lakers last year. They could make the leap this year. Durant wasn't a huge factor in that series, but if the World Championships, and the growing pangs of last year's first round dud (for him) are any indication, maybe they take that leap.

    Conference to win NBA Finals:

    Western Conference +130

    - This is mostly a fade of people in love with the Miami Heat, and/or Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic making a run at it. Other than that, I don't see any super duper contenders coming out of the East (maaaybe the Bulls?). At +130 to root for Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, and the Oklahoma City Thunder, or even Utah and Portland as darkhorses is worth the price IMO.

    Rookie of the year:

    Thiago Splitter +3000

    - Again Homerism and factoring that out of all of the rookie pool, he is the most "pro"-ready rookie, as he has played pro for a long time now. My only doubts are that he plays on a team with 3-4 other dominant scorers. This is a really long shot, but if he plays significant minutes, average a double double, he could steal this from Wall or Griffin.

    Regular Season MVP:

    Dwight Howard +650

    - Taking a stab at value here. Durant could win it, but has Westbrook. Bryant could win it, but has Gasol. I really don't see James winning with Wade and Bosh there, unless he just averages 30-10-10 a night, which then he deserves it. If Howard can score consistently above 20 points, he averages 20 ppg, but there are games he will have 12 and 12. I'm looking for 20-15 on a nightly basis lol, he can get 15 boards, and lots of blocks for defensive player of the year, but if rumors are true that he did work on his low post game to expand it... +650 is good value IMO.

1 unit each (Hope I win some of these, most are reaches )

GL everyone! Can't wait for the season to start
