    NBA Saturday March 8

    Recap: 0-1 Record: 7-4

    Review:
Missed last time in with my best play, the asterisk spot as the Lakers beat the Clippers (who screwed me again last night with a late cover verse NY.)

I've been waiting for another * spot and I've got one today.
The overall record for this play is now 4-10, 2-6 on home teams, 2-4 on road teams.

The Fade team tonight is Orlando.
The line opened Milwaukee -6' and hasn't seen any movement on the number, just slight fluctuations on the price attached with some houses favoring the Fav and some the Dog.

    My Play:
    Mil -6'

Update: Bad buy on my part, -4' now.

Monday, March 10th, got the hook on top of the nine for my column pick.
Lost with Milwaukee last time in.
Will update record in my next post with my next forum play.

      Live in game stuff:

Denver lost last night to tonight's opponent, OKC.
Did you know that in game two of back-to-backs Denver's 12-1 SU?
And tonight they're in game two of back to backs and getting +9'.

Last night Denver lost to the Thunder by 24 points, but here's their score quarter by quarter:
      Q1 +1, Q2 -2, Q3 -2.
So going into the fourth quarter they were down by only three points.
They lost because in Q4 they got outscored by 21 points, 41-20.
They played even with the Thunder for three of four quarters.
If they can do that tonight they just need to avoid the Q4 blowout.

So far, Q1 is in the books and they're up by 2.

Update #1: With 7 minutes left in the second quarter Denver's up by six points. Then they collapsed and were down by 11 before a little comeback put them down by 6 at halftime.
      My +9' is now +3'.

Denver is shooting 54% to OKC's 53%, but the Thunder have made four more three-pointers than the Nuggets.

Defense is killing me. Sunday night at the half OKC had 61 pts, tonight they have 73.
If I'm going to get the cover I need better defense, especially against the three-pointers, in the second half.

Update #2: Denver takes Q3 by a score of 34-26.
I got back the six points I was down at the half and picked up two points on top of that. My +9' for the full game is now +11' for just a final 12 minutes.

      Update #3: $$$
