NBA Total for Saturday May 10

    Recap: 0-1
    Record: 15-14

Review: Took a loss with my Nesmith prop yesterday when he fell short of his average shooting percentage in all categories.

I'll try to get back with some numbers to support my play this morning but a lot of 'capping to do and some errands to run so this will be shorter than usual. I bought this this morning at a sponsor Bookmaker because the number is starting to go up.

    My play:
    Bos/NY Ov 206'

Play above was based on one of the three models I have for picking totals. T2 has the record of 18-19 on Overs in the postseason.

So why did I buy it if it has a losing record?
Because I track sub-categories within most of the records that I track. And I have one for T2 that has a postseason record of 13-8 on Overs.

The importance of buying at the right time.
I bought yesterday's game Ov 206' at around 8:00 in the morning because I saw it was starting to go higher.
      It closed at 209'.
      It landed on 208.

The first part of my anticipated script for the way the NY/Boston series will play out came in perfectly as the Celtics won by 22.
That was a pivotal part because if they lost that one my series bet on Boston -120 would be in serious trouble.

The next game is important but not as pivotal. Yes, a win would be nice but even if Boston loses they go home down 1-3. If they can pick up a win at home in game 5 they only need to steal game six in New York to bring it back home for the final.

      So far, so good...
