Wingin' it to Clarksville WNBA for Sunday 7/13

    Recap: 1-0
    Record: 15-13
Review: Used Minnesota again, nailed the Over 161, landed on 168.

In the early game today the Wings fly to Clarksville to take on the Fever.

One of my three handicapping models for picking totals, T2, says this one stays Under.
T2 is 9-3 on the year, 2-0 on Unders.

Looking at it from the "Day of the week" POV, I see a record of 4-4 on totals in the first game of the morning, no edge Ov or Un (unlike Saturdays first game of the day which, after yesterday's win, is now 8-1 to the Over. Something to keep in mind for next week.)

The total for this game is available at 175'.
Let's look at a team specific Sunday POV, using 175'.

The Wings have played twice on Sunday mornings.
The games landed on 146 and 171, with the 171 having the addition of an overtime period but still staying Under today's number.

The Fever have only played once on Sunday.
    The game landed on 170.

So all three Sunday games in this spot played to the Under.

    Now let's look at H2H.
These teams played once this season and the game landed on 180. That' 5 points higher than today's number BUY the Fever shot almost 60% in that game, including 43% on three point shots. That's unlikely to happen again today.

Update: I deleted info on handicapping homework for today, not enough time.

I'm going to check on some player props.
I have my eye on two of them, if I get the numbers I want I'll buy it and post it here.

The 175' number is starting to disappear.
Most houses at 175. And that's the number I got.

Good luck with your plays today.

    Today's play:
    Dal/Ind Un 175

Can't believe they're going to give me 4' with just a little added juice as the number for rebounds on the man-beast Griner again.
I used this as a pick in my article on Friday 7/11 and she grabbed 8.

And I'm going back to it again today.

She's covered this number in six of her last ten games.
In three of the four games that she didn't surpass 4' she had 4, missing by a hook.

    H2H:
Griner has faced New York twice this season.
She didn't surpass for 4' in either game.
In the first meeting she only had 2, BUT Jonquel Jones played opposite her at center that day. Jones is still out for NY.
In the game without Jones, Griner had 4.
Just need one more than that today.

Two plays for today already, may add one or two more.
Will post if I have one to recommend.

    My plays:
    Dal/Ind Un 175
    Griner Over 4' rebounds -135.

Forgot to mention one of the reasons I took the Under when I was writing up the Dal/Ind game.
Ind is a Double Digit Hm Fav today.
DD Hm Favs are 8-19 on Overs.
      So there's that, too

Both teams shooting over 50% in Q1, score is 28-27.
That's a pace that would come in at 220.

All I can say is . . . C'mon Griner, snag me some rebounds!
        I'm gonna need it.

Update: Q2, they're still shooting better than 50%, AND making matters even worse they're playing at an NBA All-Star Game pace, running up and down the court.

        C'mon Griner!
