    NBA Notes

With the WNBA season beginning in two days I'm shutting down my NBA. I don't like to focus on more than one sport at one time and I only have so many hours in the day to dedicate to handicapping.

A 7-1 campaign through the playoffs puts me at 40-26 for the season, 60%. A good note to close on.

I've said it many times before even though people think I'm making a joke - I prefer the WNBA over the NBA.
I prefer watching it, I prefer betting on it.

I want to complete my log book for this NBA season though so I'll still cap the few NBA games remaining, may even play one if I see something very strong, but not likely.

What I will do though is share what I have here in case anyone's looking for angles on the games.

Hear the plays that qualify today and the postseason-only records.

WF1 says Minnesota should be the Fav today.
I've only had six WF1 spots this postseason.
The overall record is 3-3, 0 - 1 on Hm teams, 3-2 on Rd teams.
It also qualifies as an Asterisk Spot, also rare during this postseason. The record for these is 0-1 when it's an Rd team.

And, as always both games today qualify as T2 Over spots.
I keep double checking these because everything kicks out as an over in this model but my numbers are correct.
Record on these is 22-30, a 57% Fade.

The Sixers/Knicks game qualifies for a subcategory that is 13-11 on T2 Overs.

The Wolves/Spurs game qualifies for a subcategory that is 7-12 on T2 Over, good for a 63% Fade.

No place for me, just sharing a little info in case anyone's looking for different angles on tonight's games.

I made two buys already on the upcoming WNBA season, which starts on Friday. Article is up on the homepage.
It's a good read for handicappers who rely on math and percentages.

Good luck with your play today...
