    WNBA Prop Bet Monday 8/17

    Recap: 1-0
    Record: 1-1, - $12.00
    Review:
Last time in I used Kelsey Plum Ov 1' three-pointers made in her first game as a member of the Phoenix Mercury.
She came into the game welcome late in the first quarter, hit her first three. Early in the second quarter, she made and hit on her second three point attempt. Ended up hitting three of five for an easy winner.

    Tricky one tonight.
I took Odyssey Sims over 8' pts, -125.
It's less than her season average but she'll get extended minutes tonight due to injuries.
It's also tricky because she's playing Golden State, the best defense in the league.
And it's also tricky because last time she played them she was 0-4 FG's, 0-1 for three-point range and ended up with just three points.
I'm betting she'll get a little bit more playing time tonight, I will make a few more shots.

    My play:
    Sims Ov 8' pts

And I'm screwed before the game even tips off.

I was very careful to check as many sources as I could to ensure that Sims was starting and Shepard was out tonight.

Everything said "yes, Sims is in the starting lineup,, Shepard is out"

    Wrong!!!

Shepard is in, Sims is on the bench.

Even if Sims hit's 100% of her shots she probably won't get enough of them to hit the Over.

And that's the danger of playing props - lineup changes, different amount of minutes played, and injuries.

The number on tonight's atlanta/LV game is starting to rise.
The board is split now between 177' and 178'.
      I grabbed it at 177'.
