Cause Houston sucks? LOL. Seriously though, if you just use the "pick the winner" concept, that JAX play was EASY to make today. IMO Houston's chances of winning outright today were slim, and none....with the slim being if JAX had a ton of turnovers or something unexpected.Stiffy- GL!.....i think my Bengals need to can starivin marvin's ass...he's done exactly nothing since coming to cincy (1 playoff game wooohoooo). i thought he was supposed to be an defensive guru....not. I looked at the JAX game, but i will never bet on them again as a favorite. They F'd me in week 1 and they are at it again today as a TD favorite. They should never be favored again. How can you be favored by a TD when you can't score more than 10 points a game. GL!....
In any case, I think the problem with the Bengals probably lies in that they have/had so many poor character guys. Even if they got rid of a few/lost some to suspension, and they're not with the team anymore, that creates a void where they're now playing a guy who wasn't really intended to be a starter with the team.
Kinda funny how that works with Marvin Lewis supposed to be a defensive guy. I mean look at how many head coaches who are supposed to be either offensive or defensive specialists from their coordinator days, and now their respective team just blows in that area.
Wonder what the line will be for Miami next week? I seriously could see Miami pulling the upset over NE, or at least taking them down to the wire. I think this was a big time statement game for NE today taking out another undefeated team big time (I saw Bellicheat had to go for an extra TD with 19 secs left again to prove his manliness), and with "bigger fish to fry" on deck than 0-6 Miami, with Wash and then Indy, I think that is a game where NE might have a bit of a letdown. I'm really curious to see what that line is going to be....Leave a comment:

Not digging that Dallas play. Buying it back with:
NE -5 (+100)
3 units
Hopefully it lands exactly on 5 or 6, lol. If not....no big deal. I honestly think Dallas gets smoked this afternoon the more I think about it, and I'd rather pay a little juice than lose 3+ units if that happens.Leave a comment:

That's ridiculous. A 40 cent line on a spread? Even a 30 cent line on the Tenn/TB game is stupid. Are you using a local or online book?Leave a comment:
