- Miami keeps games close on the road predominantly this year, and New England is coasting reputation-wise off all those blowouts recently as shown by the huge lines, with exception to the Pittsburgh game which I full expected and cashed for them to cover, they've had problems with Philly and Balty, not your elite teams.

- in terms of external factors, Miami has Jason Taylor's possibly playing hurt to get PT record, Parcell's hiring, those champagne soaked old geezers from 72, and having already gotten their first win this year could just go out and play loose.

Weather and Patriots not having much to play for, despite what Belichick wants the media to think, he will not risk injury to players when he doesnt need to. I believe he wants to be perfect but he wont overextend to get it.
