No FF, I know what you were saying. I've been bitching about the playcalling for a while now. This one has othing to do with that IMO- they aren't executing. Personally it was a play that was about 80%revenge/ 20% homer. Any time I can get a divisional matchup with revenge for -3 or less, it's usually a play.Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends...Comment

No offense FF, and i'm not trying to start **** with you, but I just can't keep quiet anymore about some of the **** that is going on at this site. And believe me, this is WAY at the BOTTOM of my list of pet peeves that are going on at this site lately. Normally this is something I'd probably just leave go and ignore, but I just have to say this, because you are always the first to call a guy out for whatever reason.
I'm trying to say this like a buddy to a buddy, because i'm not saying it as a mod to a poster, but rather as a poster to another poster....
So what i'm saying, is that you always seem to have an opinion (and a very strong one) on games when they are either over, or halfway over...and they always seem to be stated a way in which you are chopping someone down who has made a statement that may not have turned out to be correct.
I personally think it would be nice if you provided some of your input and insight on these games PRIOR to the games starting, or don't bother to provide anything at all. I think it's bad for business, and it chases away new posters and veteran posters alike if they are made to feel stupid, especially when it's after the fact.
I mean we can all see that BUF sucks today, and in retrospect, i suppose those of us who liked BUF may have laid off. But ya know, i guess we are not all wise enough to get 100% of our plays right. Besides, my reasoning is still valid, even if the team isn't. MOST teams would step up in this spot and get the win. Apparently BUF is just not one of them.

i always have opinions period......and they are mine and that's that and sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong.
as i said if you would have bothered to read that that i probably phrased it wrong and that i wasn't hacking on anyone's plays. i was more just making a comment on the bills and what i have seen from them. i don't have a play on that game either way.
you know the funny thing was after i posted it i was like i should probably delete it because i thought it might come across wrong and the one guy it was most likely to offend would be you. sorry stif.
and i have provided insight in in game threads. i don't always have time to come around. i really didn't even pay much attention to the NFL this week and really a lot of times don't get a chance to until Sunday (as evidenced by the fact that my weekly contest picks usually go like 2-8)

It's ok....but yea, it took it kind of offensively, since i was the one who opened this thread and gave my opinion to start. It felt like you were pissing on me and my opinion by what you said. I'm glad to hear you didn't mean it that way.
Like i said, normally I wouldn't take something like this in an offensive manner, but I am so fed up with some of the people posting at this site lately, that i guess that was the post that pushed me over the edge, even if it was unjustified.

It doesn't change the fact, however, that I have decided that instead of showing my disgust with some of the posters of this site by just disappearing and not posting anymore, that i am instead going to just going to call them out. This applies to all chest thumpers, bashers, and just plain a$$holes who bring the mood of this site down.
Why?
Because this is, and has always been, the best site on the net for sports discussion/plays etc....but sadly, it is imo not heading in the right direction. This has always been a haven where people could come to post their plays and opinions, and interact with others with similar interest, without fear of being bashed for their opinion, and not having to worry about being made feel like an idiot if they're wrong.
IMHO we need to head more back into that direction, and I plan on doing my part in making that happen.
What i'm saying, is just ******* be nice people. Treat others how you would want to be treated. It's not that hard.Comment

I remember the old site and I value both Stiffy's and FF's opinion. I haven't been posting as much this year, just lurking, and I love this place. Busters come and go, but the real cappers remain. Say what happened to Thor? That's what I feel too. A lot of people on this site are cool, I know who I listen to and who to fade, but if we didn't have opinions then what is the point of a forum, and this one is to kill the book. Right guys?
