It just goes to show how things can be seen differently, because what I saw was a Baltimore team who did absolutely nothing except get lucky in benefiting from 2 PI calls and then proceed to score on 1 yd TD runs.

Weather they were legit or not has absolutely zero relevance, however, the fact that Baltimore would have never sniffed the end zone (or probably even a fg) without those penalties is what is much more important in my mind. They were shut down, plain and simple, end of story. I would assume that anyone who watched that game doesnt actually think Baltimore would have gotten those 2 TD's without the aid of penalties, therefore they would have never even been in a position to cover without them. But, they're part of the game....

And yea, the roughing the kicker was B.S., but Pitt didn't get a single point from it, or really even advance the ball enough to change field position drastically.

It's also amazing to me how since Baltimore scored on 2 PI calls to make it 16-14 with a few mins left, all of a sudden that makes them the right side simply because they were actually within the spread near the end of the game

However, the fact that Pitt forced 3 freakin turnovers in the last 4 mins or thereabouts, one leading to a TD was absolutely irrelevant and just lucky for them and their backers i guess, lol, and it had absolutely nothing to do with their defense completely locking down on the Baltimore O and putting the game away.

The way I see it, that ending was as much part of the game as the 2 P.I. calls that handed Baltimore their TD's....although it appears others don't see it that way, and I'm not sure why, lol

Not to mention that TD pass Linus Sweed dropped with no defender within 5 yards of him that would have iced the game SU and ATS long before Baltimore had a chance to get back in it.

Point is, a team up 2 points, laying 6, covering on a late TD is in no way shape or form a "backdoor" or a "lucky" cover, as any score they get with 4 minutes to go is obviously still an important one.

and for the record for the millionth time, i have been on PIT both games so far this year. go back to both discussion threads. in fact versus the Chargers i was probably a little too over the top on them.

wow......you guys didn't watch the same game i watched then...Joe Flacco, and baltimore sucked...tamparay is right...the had no business being in that game..i do agree the roughing the punter was sketchy..but seriously..limas sweed should have made it 21-6 before half boys...........how can you seriously say baltimore deserved to be in that game?? Look at the stats for god's sake. The ravens did absolutely nothing offensively except chuck it up and hope for PI calls. Even with the bad call(the 2nd one was legit), they had less than 200 yards of total offense. You're saying they should've been in that game? If Pitt doesn't get the horrible overturn on Holmes, shoot themselves in the foot at the end of the 1st half, and drop an easy TD by Sweed, they win by at least 3 TD conservatively. The ravens cashed on every single scoring opportunity that they had. Their offense was incapable of generating anything further.

So this "clown" didn't see it the way you did. And I'm pretty sure any of us who can actually "SEE", didn't see it through your eyes either. Tell you what though--why don't you fade Pitt in the SB. Since they're so terrible, that seems like it would be a great strategy.

BB- i think you and i were the only ones watching the game we were watching. That clown who started a thread to say that the refs were for PIT was a joke. Both PI calls were legit....what wasn't legit was the roughing the punter call on the Ravens. Willie Parker ran for 48 yards on like 25 carries. And talk about shooting yourself in the foot.....hows about that clown who got flagged for 15 yards for BAL on the punt return, and instead of starting from their own 42 down 16-14 with 4 to go, they started on their own 13. Changed the complection of that last drive. They also SHOULD have gotten points off of that turnover when they ran 2 horrible plays on 3rd and 1 and 4th and one in the 1st half. Swede drops the TD pass for PIT....both teams made mistakes.

I really find the whole thing comical in a lot of these games. Everybody is always on the right side and everybody who loses always gets screwed. I think that's why im losing interest in gambling and posting plays.

And i was on PIT -6 today FYI. Feel fortunate to cash a ticket. 13-7 at the half and then 16-14 with 5 to go. Both teams shot themselves in the foot.

I really thought it was nice of Joe to allow the Defense to get set every time prior to the snap. WTF was that ****en guy doing. Ever time he would come up to the line. Pitt would be trying to figure out what they were doing and Joe was just looking at them waiting and waiting and oh okay you guys set now, than he would snap the ball with 1 sec on the clock so it really didn't matter what the **** the snap count was!
