If i opt for rb first then I prob wouldn't grab a qb till round 3. Possible sleepers or spot starters for me are

Vince Young- spot starter for when they play defenses that can't stop the run. Problem is he does have a pretty tough looking schedule.

Matt Moore- Started the last 5 games last season and threw 3 tds in two of them. I think Smith isn't dead yet but Jarrett may be a head case. Just see the Panthers a a team that could get involved in some high scoring games...

QB i really want---- Shaub, Ryan, Kolb

I have the 5th overall and am thinking Turner. Barring another injury he should have a monster season. The way I see my league top 5 is like this

    Peterson

    Chris Johnson

    Jones Drew

    Ray Rice/Brees

I could opt to go QB, but there's alway the chance Brees goes 4 giving me the option of Rice or Turner for my #1. Still leaning Turner.... my league just implemented 1 pt for every wr reception so quality wr will go quick. Still so much to mull over

agree i just wrote one thing and meant another... i guess sleeper isnt the word i was looking for but i think those 3 guys are capable of finishing atop the league for fantasy stats this year is what i meant by sleeper in a way... like finishing as the best overall for wr's

for instance kolbs 2 games he started he threw for over 300 yards passing and had jackson tunnel vision... greg jennings just happens to be the #1 option for what i think will be the best quarterback in fantasy stats this year in aaron rodgers... and roddy white is just mr consistent and he hasnt had a break out year and matt ryan with couple seasons now under his belt should make better decisions and lead to more balls for white... anyways they are not under the radar sleepers but certainl IMO players u can pick up later and get maximum value i think this year...

Hasselbeck is SO fragile. I'd be scared ****less to ever own that guy again.

I am bored been reading this
so ill post my top 4 players per position & my Sleeper pick cause i can

    QB
    Peyton
    Brees
Romo (this guy gets better every year check his yrds per game)
    Rodgers

Sleeper : Matt Ryan not for yrds as much as for Td's

    RB:
Peterson (guy works too hard to not make a 2008 comeback)
Turner ( he is finally 100% healthy personally i think he is worthy of #1 pick)
    C. Johnson ( production will go down but not by much)
Stephen jackson ( he just good always)

Sleeper Tomlinson (He's back Jets are lookin good and tomlinson is my sleeper for Td's crazy year)

    WR:
    Reggie Wayne
    Andre Johnson
    Larry Fitzgerald
    Randy Moss
(these 4 are just juggernaughts no explanation necessary)

I got 3 sleepers at wr this year im eyeballing
    Greg Jennings
    Deshaun Jackson
    Roddy White

Roddy white is a sleeper cause not many people know he has been one of the best producing wr's last like 6 years or w.e
other 2 i expect big years...

Honestly, there is a lot of crap out there this year. A ton of guys that I don't really want any part of. Tons of guys with little injuries already in training camp so you don't want to grab them as high as you might if they weren't hurt. Guys like Steve Smith-panthers, Lesean Mccoy, knowshon moreno. mccoy is not hurt but just don't want him.

Then there is vincent jackson and holmes who are suspended so I dont want them. There's not much that sticks out to me in rounds 3-6.

So lets ressurect FF talk and get some thoughts and opinons on the upcoming 2010 season:

These are a few players I see being undervalued or steals in later rounds after the favs are taken:

    - Jonhy Knox (WR), Sidney Rice (WR), Hines Ward (WR)

    - Beanie Wells (RB), Jamaal Charles (RB)

    - Schaub (QB), Hasselbeck (QB)

Make no mistake, Roddy White is a great #1 that should have another monster season. I'm sure many will still overlook him or go the way of a bigger name player, despite his great 2008 season. Tied for most tds last season with Fitz...easily the best player on my losing fantasy team last season. I'll be looking at Bowe to put up good numbers for KC. Last season he had 86 catches 7 tds, I would venture to say he gets 10+tds this season, he has that playmaler ability. I also think Ted Ginn could be worth a roster spot, seems like he picked it up in the second half of the season and Miami will likely be looking at getting the ball his way.

I too had success with wr in the league Rah had going. I think Jones Drew does go off this season but for a keeper league you have to go top wr in that spot. Brees is a no brainer, barring injury he'll produce.

thanks at. i did choose fitz and brees. I wanted to see if anyone else really thought mjd was going to blow up this year. RBs are not really my strategy in FF though. I go for WR.

Love Brees and Fitz, you can shore up RB in first couple of rounds in draft. I'm not a huge fan of MJD, but just by personal preference. Brees has a ton of tools and even losing Colston for several games last year still rocked. No statistics, but I do fairly well in FF.

I can't wait for FF either, spent about an hour watching highlights on nfl.com and youtube. :)

here's a little proposition for you guys. I am in a keeper league. We get to keep 2 guys. RB and WR points are dead equal. QB's get a pt for every 50 passing yards and 6 pts for tds. RB and WR get 2 pt for 15 yards and 6 pts for TDs. INT and Fumbles are -2.

Which two would you keep and why?

    Drew Brees
    Reggie Wayne
    Larry Fitzgerald
    Maurice Jones-Drew
