I gotta say the Jaguars are on top of my list. They were in a horrid spot to begin with, but had 6 turnovers resulting in 17 pts. Jones Drew rushed just 12 times. Jax historically blows on the west coast (look at last years games @SEA/SF). Last season they lost by dd on the road 4 times, and won the following home game all 4. Philly owned the Lions but could not put them away, despite rushoing for 162 5.8 ypc. Now the second of b2b road games and they are favored- also want to note that they are undisciplined (9 penalties for 75 yards last week). Looking like Kolb will be the starter once again, so who knows what to expect. I do think the Jaguars should be able to score here on Philly, i mean the Lions passed for 329 and ran for 115! Leaning Jags ML, Jags team total over and over as well.....

I do not like a couple homedogs for sure

Indy-6 @Denver- Indy played the Donkeys @ home last season, Peyton threw 3 picks and the Colts still won by 12. Denver was able to throw all over the Hawks last week (not happening vs Indy), and struggled to run.

Panthers/Bengals- I know there is a trend that is to play on the first start by a rookie qb, but vs the Bengals defense? Be my guest to back the Panthers here with Clausen starting, I don't think I can stomach that.

Packers-3- One of those too good to be true lines? Maybe, but the line is right IMO- Bears may actually be getting too much respect with this line, they beat the Lions and Dallas. Dallas outgained them 410-308, but had 3 turnovers. The Bears managed 38 rushing yards and were 1-11 on 3rd down, but thanks to staying turnover free and having just 2 penalties for 10 yards they pulled off the upset. I just don't believe the Bears are in the same category as the Packers. I trust Mr. Rodgers, and Cutler is so hit or miss. I don't think GB will give the ball away 3 times and the Bears would need to stay balanced to move the ball vs GB. Lean Packers-pts

After last night, I bet there will be a ton of people on the Niners this week over KC. I honestly don't see how they can be a favorite on the road in this spot, are the linesmakers telling us something dogging KC @ home off a su win as a road dog? Not sure on the side, but the under looks pretty good.

FWIW one thing I noticed, every game with a total line of 39 or less has gone under so far this season.

Agree 100%. Jags are usually money playing as a dog, and Kolb hasn't shown enough yet to be warranting points here. As much as I like to fade Chicago as a Bears fan, I must admit I like them here as well. They always play GB tough, and the defense has looked surprisingly live so far. Their oline is sh*t but Martz made a nice adjustment around the 2nd qtr (3 step drops) and the offense didn't look back.

Other than that your guess is as good as mine. I haven't seen KC play yet, but do they deserved to be dogged to San Fran in this spot? I don't see Cinci lighting anyone up on the road, but Carolina has been craptastic up to this point.

Steelers in a very tough spot 2nd of b2b road games and now onto the third string qb. Very tough making a play against a defense this good, but TB has a passing game that I think could be effective vs Pitt... This only goes over if there are 3 defensive tds lol.

Um the Skins are road faves why? Only because they are playing the Rams. The Texans shredded their d, and I have a hard time seeing how this team gets up for this road game after the way last week ended for them. Lean Rams but I have to dig there....

Seattle/SD is intriguing to me, as these are schizo teams, who know which one shows up....

other plays that jumped out at me

Ravens- Browns off a close loss @ home to KC now have to travel to Balty and face the Ravens in their home opener. Ravens offense has looked pretty bad, but then again it was against two of the better defenses in the NFL. I don't think they could set this line high enough, Ravens -pts looks good. Ravens team total over 24 or so is looking like my favorite play of the week.

Titans/Giants o43- Titans pass D has yet to be tested (I suspect it could be their weakness defensively) facing Oakland and the Steelers. NYG are coming off a blowout loss were they had 3 turnovers and couldn't get the passing game going. Indy ran for 160 yards vs NYG, and Chris Johnson is coming off a game where he was held to 34 yards on 16 carries? Last season he was held to 57 yds on 15 carries vs Pitt, then responded by going off vs Houston 197 2 tds and 87 receiving yards. I think both teams should be able to get some points on the board here....

                chalkserviceacademynfldiscussiondog...:beerbang:

I won't even bother with 2 cents but I will say that I agree on your Ravens over.....they have really suffered from just a lack of everyone being on the same page...Boldin and Crapsmenzouda have been on a milk carton and you're just waiting for that whole show with them and ray rice to explode on somebody. It isn't the 93 Cowboys but certainly is better than the 20 points they've put up in 2 games....

also, the enigma that continues to be an enigma is Carson Palmer. He is just king of thte dink and dunk and I am getting to the point where i'm beginning to wonder if this offense is going to roll up points on anyone this year? Not sure what the total is but don't see a ton of points in that bengals game this week......

and the enigma game of the week is the Seachickens and the bolts...bolts notoriously awful starters under Turner and who in the world knows what the sea chickens have.....outstattted badly when it counted in week 1 and blown out in week 2....should by all accounts be 0-2.....

I don't see how he couldn't, until Vick screws himself out of that job. That would definitely make the over look more enticing.....

I'm liking TB. Public should line up on PITT only laying 1 pt against a TB team who can't possibly go 3-0 right? This line could be PITT -4 imo.

TB's a tough out. Liking them too, who's starting QB for Pitt?

Udoggie I agree on Wash. Told my friend the same thing. This line stinks. LV begging us to take WASH but I am strongly leaning towards St Louis. Grass team to a turf stadium also.

Only problem is Josh Freeman in his first time against that defense. They've already stopped a good offense in Atlanta and really caused a ton of problems for Tennessee. I don't know that they can move the ball. I think the under is safer there with both teams not likely to get in the end zone on offense.
