Boy did that Chargers game hurt last week. Had +3.5 and they were up 7 with the ball with like 9 mins left and they somehow don't cover.
System 1 was on a tear last week. Just like last year, crazy record starting in week 5 before fizzling out after 3 weeks. I will track that from week 5 on like I originally intended.
Last week 2-1 plays. 3-0 leans. Season 13-4 plays, 7-6 Leans. System 1: 7-1.
Plays:
Philly +3.5 vs. Carolina. Philly will be missing Jalen Hurts, Davante Smith, and their top 3 RBs for this one. Carolina will be coming in off their bye, in their last game they scored at will on Detroit on MNF. I mention the trend, and it's going to be an automatic play until the trend ends. Taking Eagles here. Probably should look into the under as well.
LA Chargers +7.5 at Kansas City. The Chargers were basically down to only their RBs and Tight Ends last game. Mcconkey and Johnston will likely be back this week. Having seen many of the KC games, I can tell you that their defense is severely overrated. With Rashee Rice and Thornton out, Mahomes will be down to Walker, Kelce, and Worthy. I think this is a close game, and have the Chargers keeping it close or pulling the upset in the end. We're getting close to the point where the Chargers have nothing to play for.
Leans:
LV Raiders +4.5 vs. Buffalo. Liking the Raiders in this spot off being crushed by New England last week. Buffalo is off a game where they were getting 3 and the hook on MNF and still won the game outright. Buffalo's defense is also suspect as heck, and I could see Cousins moving the ball like he did against KC.
Chicago -1.5 at Atlanta. Like the Bears here to bounce back regardless of who plays QB. Shocked that they're still favored with Caleb Williams still in question. Penix is already cleared and will play this week.
Dallas +1.5 at Green Bay. The Packers have quietly won 2 in a row and are sitting at 3-2 after that horrid start. Dallas had a "Player's Only" meeting this week. But I assume that the only thing that came out of that was the defense blaming their failures on the Defensive Coordinator.
Surprised that the line is so low, but from experience I can tell you Dallas gets too much credit every season, especially with the offense they have this year.
System 1 (10-9 weeks 1 through 4, 7-1 Week 5 on)
Jacksonville -2.5
Philly +3.5
Cleveland +3.5
LV Raiders +4.5
Dallas +1.5
System 2 (4-1):
None again.
