Late post. Barely could get out of bed after Houston blew that +6.5 cover last night against Utah.
Last week 0-2 Plays, 2-1 Leans. Season: 13-6 Plays, 9-7 Leans. System 1 went 2-3.
Plays:
Indy +6.5 at Minnesota. I think this is a good spot to take Indy coming off a loss to Tennessee, firing their GM, and missing Tyler Warren. Meanwhile, Minnesota is off their bye and the new Call of Duty just came out on Friday.
Philly +4.5 vs. Dallas. Philly is missing everyone again, and Davante Smith this time. Feels like a game where the division rivalry will make you forget all that.
Seattle -2.5 vs. Kansas City. As I said last week, Kansas City's defense is suspect, and the only reason they covered last week is because Justin Herbert is broken.
Baltimore +2.5 vs. Cincy. Lamar is out again. Baltimore is coming off a loss to Cleveland, and Cincy is off a bye and it's a high consensus game.
Leans:
Detroit -3.5 vs. Green Bay. A little probability thing here. Feels like in this spot, the worse team giving 3 and the hook has not covered lately. 3.5 seems like a gift considering how bad Detroit's defense is, and how Green Bay shut Dallas down on Sunday Night.
Looking Into, No Play for Now:
San Fran -2.5 at Atlanta. The Niners are pretty banged up. Blew the cover last week, held on the skin of their teeth. Atlanta went down early and came roaring back, to ultimately lose to a pretty good Chicago team. Niners will be without Evans this week.
On Paper, you look at see a 6-0 team giving less than 3 to a 2-4 team. Seems kinda low, so I can't pull the trigger yet.
System 1 (10-9 weeks 1 through 4, 9-4 Week 5 on)
Indy +6.5 W
Baltimore +2.5 L
NY Giants +10.5 W
Tampa Bay +2.5 W
LA Rams -3.5 W
Seattle -2.5 W
System 2 (4-1):
None again.
