why does DAL need another cetnerman? Ribiero and Modano have been more than solid so far. I mean seriously, you're not going to break up the Ribiero/Morrow line and then what, are you going to pay Richards 7M/season to center your 4th line...:dunno:...he showed in TAM he didn't do well when he had stiffs on his wings. TSN is reporting that it's a done deal, no word on who/what Dallas gave Tampa

I heard Mike Smith is definitely a part of it...TB was demanding a goalie as a part of the Richards trade....and Dallas is in the best condition to deal that, with 2 good ones. Vancouver was trying to peddle their young prospect goalie Schneider as part of their offer for Richards, but he's likely too far away from competing...
