    JML-

to answer your question...because i've just had enough. I've had enough of getting up to work 2 hours early so i can watch a Flyers game at 4PM only to have them be then ones who didn't show up. I mean game after game after important game. Last year i believe it was they had a chance at home to win the division and were down like 4-1 to the Devils before the thing even got going. Efforts like they had versus Toronto in the last week of the season. They have become all to familiar. 15 of the 16 teams got the memo that the playoffs started this week......surprise surprise...PHI was the one who came out flat. I'm just sick of it. And then the trades. They trade a great locker room guy and a hard worker for a complete thug who is just an overall waste of space as a hockey player in Carcillo. I mean don't the flyers have enough bone heads already without another one? they should be named the Philadelphia Lip Services because they always say all the right things and then do all the wrong ones...."yeah, you know we need to stay out of the penalty box"...so what do they do in game1...take 400 penalties......it's like a broken record with this team....one that lacks veteran leadership and one that needs somebody to say enough is enough of the not showing up for whole games and not playing 60 minutes of hockey but every week or 2. Read the PHI area papers...they all say the same thing....people are tired of getting 1/2 ass efforts from this group and that being more the norm than not.

Sure i like guys like Carter, Richards, Gagne.......but this group as a collective whole i think is lazy as ****. Even in games like the TOR game in the last week when they went up 3-0...they still couldn't play a complete game and had to hang on for an 8-5 win. They get up on PIT 2-0 and then fall asleep and start taking dumb penalties and next thing you know it's 2-2. This team needs to get the freeking bobby clark stamp off of this team. I can't stand that guy. They need to find some guys who are willing to go into the corner like Primeau did for what 900 periods of OT versus PIT a few years ago and pay the price.

Just sick of it, that's all. Been going on for too long. Culture needs to change in PHI. They are incapable of playing good hockey for 60 minutes or over an stretch of time. Last year's playoff run had a lot to do with who theyplayed too. They played a WAS team that was making its first appearence in eons and was just happy to be there. Then they beat a MON team that got horrible goaltending. Then they flat out got destroyed by PIT in the finals.

PHI will lose this series in probably 5 games, IMO and will lose tonight. They will forget why/how they won game3 and think that just putting on the orange jersey and saying 1974 and 1975 will get them a win. PIT will be good again tonight and regroup for the W. Wrapping it up in game5. Golf course city for PHI.

Hey JML was wondering what you thought about possibly playing Washington to win the series at +265...Pretty good price IMO...They were finally able to put the puck in the net against NY and should be fairly confident heading in to game 4...Have a feeling Ovechkin works some magic in game 4...

gl jml, hate seeing that caps price dropping. Hope they can pull it out and the line movement means nothing.

They lost 2 on the road against another Great team....that is expected...they need to hold at home now. They do, and they are still in this series. They have great players (many still REAL young) like Richards, Carter, Gagne, Timonnen, Hartnell, Lupul and Coburn that ANY team in the NHL would love to have, are jealous of the quality young players, and most can't matchup against.

OK one bad contract in Briere. Questionable trade with Carcillo (although I like him). Questionable goaltending (although, Biron really does have great stats this year, and I like him). But, dude...things look pretty good to me....win or lose, and management deserves props, IMO for putting a quality team on the ice, that has a chance.
Briere looked pretty damn good in Game 3, the line with him, Giroux, and Powe played very very good....That shorthanded play by Giroux was unbelievable!

JML....you gonna continue to back the Caps at all in either of the games in NY or do you think they are done?

lmao...too at PHI saying all the right things again...this team lacks leadership and it lacks guys that won't take soft, lazy, stupid play....GL!...

    Mason over Osgood  lol

Anyway...most of these are just for fun....it's a measly 1/2 Unit on Cbus....keeps me interested with nobody really to cheer for..... :bang:

    FLM....bet365/Bowmans does parlays....
yeah i hear you on all that. I guess my main problem is that CBJ is really an inexperienced team. There is no Pronger, Smyth, Brindamour etc.. from some of those other examples. Antoine Vermette is probably the guy with the most playoff experience. I guess there are guys like Commodore and Malhotra that have some. I don't know. Something about their team just doesn't sit right with me. but hope you hit it. I will certainly be looking for spots to play them at probably nice odds.
