yeah, i agree....the only thing that turned out OK was that 5OT job vs. PIT where Primeau scored...still one of the best games i have ever seen

yea that was a great game....what was the other marathon playoff game the Flyers played, it was vs the CAps, just forget what year

I loved Primeau man, the way he played that year we lost to the Lighting was amzing, he carried us for every game that series and almost single handedly brought us to the cup, and I know we woulda handled the Flames that year

the one thing the PHI have always done is made too many meaningless trades of one ham sandwich for another and it has messed with team chemistry. classic example signing like john sim, then getting rid of him 9 months later. we really have never had a great 4th line/grind line like DET had or TAM had with Andreychuk or DAL had with keene/carboneau/verbeek......i don't think PHI ever got it in the front office.

other than Primeau, and then of course when we finally do get great grinder type play we can't score with our top line.....

Clarke, might have been the best FLyer ever, but they always made too many moves, too many coaching changes, it was like a continuous carousel in PHIlly, if we woulda had a competent GM, we woulda had at least 1 cup

yeah, i totally agree. there were just way too many moves. we went through one period where i swear we averaged 2 coaches a season.

yeah...go back and read the one in 1992 that sent Forsberg and a ton of great players to Quebec for Lindros. I think that may be one of the worst trades of all time.....
