Well here we go the FINAL. USA vs. Japan. The last time these two teams met was in the Women's World Cup and Japan got the better of the Americans. The reason why was that they were very high with emotion after the big earthquake. The whole world was rooting for Japan. Today things will be different USA wants some payback and after barely beating Canada in the last match they will be out for the the Gold. This will be the last Olympics some of these players will play for. With Abby Wambach , Lauren Cheney , and Alex Morgan on the frontline they will pressure the back defenders of Japan. Lauren and Alex are great passers and will set Abby up , but don't be surprised to see Lauren score also. With Carli Lloyd at midfield and Heather Mitts in the back they should stop Homare Sawa of Japan from getting to the goal. If you stop Homare Japan's team falls off drastically , but still expect to see Mana Iwabuchi and Nahomi Kawasumi to see some action on the goal. That is where Hope Solo needs to just concentrate and stop them. I just think USA has to many weapons and will come out ahead and take the GOLD home.
