Kev-- Posted up with BetED about 3 weeks ago, after reading about them on here. I've enjoyed playing there so far and have had a nice run. Just wanted to make sure everything is ok there and that there are no problems there.

just put in a W/D request for about 1K so we'll see how that goes. Got a confirmation back today that it had been processed. It's a Bank auto deposit so i'll let you know how it goes.

      Hi E,

We keep tabs on stuff around the net.

Word is on beted is that the last w/d we heard about was 8 days. Pretty reasonable in today's climate.

Checks by regular mail from any book is going to take twenty to thirty days though.

This sites management is very tight knit with them and their management has big plans in the future to be one of the biggest books on the web and their going about it in the right ways.

Should be a huge up and comer for years to come assuming that the climate stays the same.

In case anybody is wondering, the fastest payouts on the web are happening at <a href="http://affiliates.5dimes.com/tracking/Affiliate.asp?AffID=5D1792429&mediaTypeID=89&image =/tracking/banner/120x60/Football_Generic_5D120x60(01).gif&AffUrlID=80">5Di mes</a> and are taking 3 days for a check via fedex.

Their a bit tough to fund, but if you do so via wire/money transfer 2x, they will put you on their "trusted" list and allow you to use echecks.

The reason you need to build TRUST with them is because echecks have a high rate of fraud and they risk losing processors if they have too many chargebacks.

Im finding many books can process credit cards/echecks, but they want to be safe and make sure that your not a fraud.

Unfortunately it happens in the biz all too often, so I can't really blame them. Its expensive for them not to mention a major pain in the balls.

Good to here. I've always played at 5Dimes and they have always been top notch. Never one problem with payouts there either.

If I remember correctly from my short time there, the lines are very square. If you like dogs and/or fading the public, you can get up to a 2 point difference on some lines(this was during football season) and get those moves earlier than other books usually.

Kevin--- Logged into my Bet Ed acct today and placed two wagers this morning. then a message appeared saying that my max bet limit is $25 per game!!!

Since depositing, I had a nice run, lost a bunch back, then had another nice run. Bet a lot of games ( mainly college hoops) and got good numbers on many of the games.

Pretty much all of my bets were $100- $200. I have not cashed out any money yet and was very shocked to see they had cut my limits to $25 per game which is essentially uselss for me. This has never occured anywhere Ive played at. Very disappointing, especially with the way the offshore climate is nowadays.

interesting. i played there for about 3 weeks and my average bet was about 200+, played almost all CBB.....had wagers as high as 450.00 and never had an issue.

didn't you email them and ask them why? that's the first thing i would have done.

i did receive a payout in about 9 days.

I did. Got an email back saying the sportsbook manager made this decision and that it was final.

Over about 3 weeks give or take....

                          Turned $500 into $2700.
Went back down to about $400.
Then from $400 back to about $2500. Then got limits cut to $25.

Put in for two withdrawals yesterday. Got email for one being processed (8-9 days). Havent received confirmation on the other one yet.

Just out of curiosity, were you guys betting the steam, possibly beating them to line moves or chasing games that had line moves?

I do hear of books cutting limits on guys in fear of syndicate action.

This is both good and bad.

The good is that some books limit their risk which means their not gonna get gutted and have slow pay issues.

The bad is that it's a pain in the balls and somewhat conservative. As two people in this thread said, they are taking their business elsewhere due to the hassle.

same kind of thing here- i deposited 150.00 and had it up to about 800.00 then back down to 53.00 then up to about 1400.00 and i ended up taking out about 1K in the end about 3 weeks later. guess i got out in time. good to know as i wont be playing CBB there next year i guess. too bad, it was a nice book for the most part.
