There is no comparison between the Big East and the ACC for THIS year. The Big East is much better. They are deeper. Most Big East teams play tough defense and run sophisticated offenses. Most ACC team play run and gun and jack up threes all the damn time. UNC is a legit final four team, but thats it. GTown, Pitt, Marquette and Louisville would mop the floor with the likes of Duke, Maryland, VaTech, Virginia etc.... It's just not even close this year.

exactly, I'm still waiting for something objective! Wake forest could play with Providence, you know why? Because in the ACC they play defense, oh and they also play offense. They usually score more than 60 points in a game.

IMO the ACC is the 2nd best league in nation.

ACC bubble teams:
Clemson is 3-7 in their last 10, which is a stat that the committee loves to use when selecting bubble teams.

Florida State needed the win today, but they were hanging their hat on the Duke win in cameron, which doesnt look nearly as good as it did 3 weeks ago. A win tomorrow gets them in, but thats highly unlikely after that hardfought game today.

Big East Bubble team:
West Virginia came out and beat Providence which they needed to do. They showed the nation they can play with great teams tonight and by the way beat N.C State

Bids IMO:
ACC - 7
Big East - 8

Well were out of the damn thing too...Hard fought game tonight, NC St just didnt miss a shot the last 25 minutes of the game...I didnt think Henderson was that important to this team, its going to be nice to have him back next week. This is very disappointing, guess after going 23-1 in this tournament you think you can beat NC St, not in this league. This league is great and deserves 8 teams.

When NC St had Atsur healthy this year, they were far better than a 16-14 team...We shouldnt have lost, but we did...Its not the end of the world, I will be rooting hard for State to make a run to Sunday...I will still watch the ACC tournament, best conference in the country, by far...
