Kenya: Barack Obama�s Other Change

He was the opposition leader in a country of 37 million people, one of the most stable and prosperous democracies on the continent. Initially, he wasn't the favored candidate to run against the President, seeking the second term. However, in August 2006 his candidacy received an enormous boost, thanks to the strong help of a U.S. Senator, who spent 6 days actively campaigning on his behalf across the country. Then, in December 2007 election came, and he lost it by more than 230,000 votes. He didn't like the result and accused the government of fraud. Hours after the election results were announced, machete-armed mobs of his supporters (predominantly Muslims) went on a broad rampage against the supporters of the government party (predominantly Christians). They burned homes and businesses, raped women and slaughtered everyone on their path. The country was thrown into its worst political crisis of the last half century, bearing all the signs of a well orchestrated genocide. Eventually, the government was pushed into negotiations - at the cost of over 1,500 lives, 600,000 displaced people and 35 women and children who were locked up in a church and burnt alive.

Today he is occupies the newly created post of Prime Minister, sharing power with the President. His name is Raila Odinga, the country he leads is Kenya, and if you don't care about Kenyan internal affairs, you should. Because the name of the U.S. Senator who gave him that ultimate boost was Barack Obama.

It was Sen. Obama who - at taxpayers' expense - in August 2006 spent 6 days in Kenya, going from a rally to a rally with Odinga and sharply criticizing Kenyan government. In his signature style he was cheering up one crowd after another, telling them: "Kenyans are now yearning for change". "You will decide if your leaders will be held accountable, or if you will look the other way," he told the crowd of thousands of students at the University of Nairobi. During these six days he received more media attention than Kenyan President, alienated the elected government to the degree that the government spokesman called him a "stooge to Odinga" in BBC interview, excited many screaming crowds - and left the country, having significantly strengthened Odinga's candidacy as the opposition leader. International press coverage of the trip's aftermath was not as cheerful as the coverage provided by US media. "Obama's Kenya �honeymoon' ends abruptly" reported Agence France Presse in August 2006. "Mr Obama was made into something of a mascot by Raila Odinga" said The Economist in the article titled "America's rising star sweeps the Kenyan primary".

The story doesn't end there. It gets worse. As it turned out, in August 2007 Odinga (who graduated from East Germany's Magdeburg University in 1970 on a scholarship provided by the East German government) had signed a "Memorandum of Understanding" with Kenya's Muslim leaders, promising certain broad changes in exchange of their support. To put what you're about to read in perspective, you have to realize that Muslims constitute 10% of the largely Christian population of Kenya. In this document, Odinga promised among other things, to recognize "Islam as the only true religion," to give Islamic leaders an "oversight role to monitor activities of ALL other religions [emphasis in original]," establish within a year Shariah court in every Kenyan region, and to ban Christian preaching on national broadcaster. The document also included explicit promises to disband Anti-Terror Police Unit that Kenyan government had formed to collaborate with the U.S. on anti-terrorist activities, and a promise that no Muslim, whether a citizen or a visitor, should be subjected to any process involving the laws of a foreign country (in particular any Muslim arrested for or suspected of Terrorism). In other words, Odinga explicitly promised to turn Kenya into in a safe haven for Islamic terrorism. The full text of this memorandum gives even better idea of change that Odinga planned to bring to Kenya.

Sen. Obama strongly supported a radical leader who explicitly planned to turn a close U.S. ally into a safe haven for Islamic terrorism and to turn a country with predominantly Christian population into a radical Islamic state. When this leader lost the election, his supporters threw the country into chaos and through continued violence blackmailed the President into offering their leader the role of prime minister, the de facto No. 2 in the Kenyan government. Only then the violence stopped, leaving 1,500 dead, 600,000 displaced and 35 people burnt alive in a church.

Read the paragraph above again. If you've been planning to vote for Sen. Obama and these facts do not concern you, you're wasting your time reading this material. You have obviously made your choice and no fact, no matter how shocking, would make you reconsider your opinion. But if does concern you, please, spend some time getting to know Sen. Obama better before you give him your vote. Find out more, get the facts, ignore the politics, form your own opinion. And only then vote. And if you are concerned, please share this material with others. The media that in 2006 paid unusually high attention to Sen. Obama's trip to Africa, has been as unusually silent about the trip's impact on Kenya (with some notable exceptions such as Washington Times and New York Sun). Many bloggers have written about it, but neither Newsweek that back in 2006 reported that Sen. Obama "was received in a manner more befitting a messiah than a junior senator bearing nothing more than opinions and good cheer" nor the Washington Post, which around the same time reported that "the U.S. senator has already become the country's most prominent �citizen'" have said a word about the boost Sen. Obama gave to Odinga. The trip, which before the crisis had been used for stunningly propagandistic materials such as Senator Obama Goes To Africa video, immediately lost its appeal to the media once supporters of the man so vehemently backed by Sen. Obama, went on a killing rampage. This doesn't mean you have to be silent about it too. In fact, it means the opposite.

And what was the theme of Raila Odinga's campaign? It was "Vote for Change". His motto? "Your Agent for Change". Sounds familiar?

From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. -They met in 1990. Obama was a student at Harvard Law School and got an unsolicited job offer from Rezko, then a low-income housing developer in Chicago. Obama turned it down.

-Obama took a job in 1993 with a small Chicago law firm, Davis Miner Barnhill, that represents developers -- primarily not-for-profit groups -- building low-income housing with government funds.

-One of the firm's not-for-profit clients -- the Woodlawn Preservation and Investment Corp., co-founded by Obama's then-boss Allison Davis -- was partners with Rezko's company in a 1995 deal to convert an abandoned nursing home at 61st and Drexel into low-income apartments. Altogether, Obama spent 32 hours on the project, according to the firm. Only five hours of that came after Rezko and WPIC became partners, the firm says. The rest of the future senator's time was helping WPIC strike the deal with Rezko. Rezko's company, Rezmar Corp., also partnered with the firm's clients in four later deals
-In 1995, Obama began campaigning for a seat in the Illinois Senate. Among his earliest supporters: Rezko. Two Rezko companies donated a total of $2,000. Obama was elected in 1996 -- representing a district that included 11 of Rezko's 30 low-income housing projects.

-Rezko's low-income housing empire began crumbling in 2001, when his company stopped making mortgage payments on the old nursing home that had been converted into apartments. The state foreclosed on the building -- which was in Obama's Illinois Senate district.

-In 2003, Obama announced he was running for the U.S. Senate, and Rezko -- a member of his campaign finance committee -- held a lavish fund-raiser June 27, 2003, at his Wilmette mansion.

-A few months after Obama became a U.S. senator, he and Rezko's wife, Rita, bought adjacent pieces of property from a doctor in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood -- a deal that has dogged Obama the last two years. The doctor sold the mansion to Obama for $1.65 million -- $300,000 below the asking price. Rezko's wife paid full price -- $625,000 -- for the adjacent vacant lot. The deals closed in June 2005. Six months later, Obama paid Rezko's wife $104,500 for a strip of her land, so he could have a bigger yard. At the time, it had been widely reported that Tony Rezko was under federal investigation. Questioned later about the timing of the Rezko deal, Obama called it "boneheaded" because people might think the Rezkos had done him a favor.

-Eight months later -- in October 2006 -- Rezko was indicted on charges he solicited kickbacks from companies seeking state pension business under his friend Gov. Blagojevich. Federal prosecutors maintain that $10,000 from the alleged kickback scheme was donated to Obama's run for the U.S. Senate. Obama has given the money to charity.

-Using his elected office and his clout, Obama helped Tony Rezko and other unscrupulous low-income housing developers obtain millions of dollars in state grants, tax credits, low-interest loans, and regulatory advantages.

Major tracking polls show BHO with 6.5 million vote lead; BUT huge questions about Obama's eligibility, foreign funds & socialism

Both of the two main tracking polls, Gallup (Traditional) and Rasmussen trackers are showing Obama with a 5 point lead going into the final week...thats the equivalent of about 6.5 million votes on an estimated turnout of 130 million...(was 122 million in 2004) The lead has shrunk from a high of 8 points at the weekend. (Zogby tracker is also at 5)

Coincidentally, Gallup also reported a 5 point lead for Governor G W Bush in 2000 going into the final week. In the end the popular vote was won by Gore by half a point...a 5.5% shift.

Unrepentant terrorist former leading Weather Underground Organization (WUO) member William Ayers was aided by Fidel Castro�s Cuba in the 1970s, according to a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) report.

The 400-page report, a copy of which was obtained by the New York Times, revealed that Cuban intelligence officers in the General Directorate of Intelligence (known by its initials in Spanish as the DGI, Cuba�s equivalent of the CIA) set up the Venceremos Brigades in which WUO members participated.

�The ultimate objective of the DGI�s participation in the setting up of the Venceremos Brigades was �the recruitment of individuals who are politically oriented and who someday may obtain a position, elective or appointive, somewhere in the U.S. Government, which would provide the Cuban Government with access to political, economic and military intelligence.� (Italics CFP�s).

�Three years before militant members of the students for a Democratic Society split off to form the Weather Underground Organization in 1970, North Vietnamese and Cuban officials were influencing radical antiwar strategy through foreign meetings. Many of those meetings were held in Communist countries, including Hungary, Czechoslovakia and North Vietnam,� said the report.

�After the Weathermen went �underground� in 1970 when many of them were being sought by the FBI on criminal charges, Cuban intelligence officers were in touch with them from both the Cuban Mission to the United Nations in New York and the Cuban Embassy in Canada.�

In fact according to the report, Ayers played a primary role in the Venceremos Brigades, a role revealed courtesy of Larry Grathwohl, a man publicly described as the �most effective informer the FBI ever placed among the Weathermen.�

It was Ayers who told �fellow underground WUO member Grathwohl that if communication could not be made through specially arranged Canadian numbers to flee American authorities, an individual should get in touch with the Cuban Embassy in Canada in order to establish contact with other members of the WUO.

�To do this an individual should use the code name �Delgado� when referring to himself and the person with whom he desired to make contact,� the report said.

The report was prepared in August 1976 after the Department of Justice opened a criminal investigation into charges that bureau agents had committed burglaries and carried out illegal mail openings and wiretaps in their attempts to apprehend Weathermen fugitives.

Closely held, only 10 copies of the report were sent to the bureau director, Clarence M. Kelley.

The following were some of its key points:

The conduit for contact in the United States was a group of intelligence agents assigned to the staff of the Cuban mission to the United Nations in New York. These agents arranged for American youths to be inculcated with revolutionary fervor and, occasionally, to be trained in practical weaponry by Cuban military officers through the so-called Venceremos Brigades.
Cuban officials helped several Weather Underground adherents who feared arrest in the United States to travel to Prague, Czechoslovakia, and then to reenter the United States surreptitiously.
It also reported that contact with the Cubans in the United States was made at the Cuban Mission to the United Nations on East 67th Street in Manhattan. Several top officials stationed at the Embassy in 1969 and 1970 were identified in the report as Cuban espionage agents.
In another incident, the report said, four Weathermen who had been in Cuba with the Venceremos Brigades were sent back to the United Stares through Czechoslovakia rather than through Canada with other brigade members to lessen their chances of being arrested by the United States authorities. The four wanted to get back to the United States safely after the explosion of a house in Greenwich Village killed two members of the Weather group, Dianna Oughton and Ted Gold, and the Cubans �obliged� them by making the European travel arrangements.
Ayers and his wife, former WUO member Bernadine Dohrn were back in Cuba this September as part of �Team Havana�, a conference on �Useful Art�, or art that includes aspects of social activism.

Sponsored by Cathedra de Arte Conducta, an arts program hosted by the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana, the project was conceived by Cuban visual artist and University of Chicago faculty member Tania Bruguera.

According to Janice Misurell-Mitchell, writing in CUBE Circuits, part of Team Havana�s work was to �present lectures and informal sessions, films and videos and performances.�

Published twice a year, the Chicago-based CUBE is partially sponsored by grants from the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelly Foundation, the NIB Foundation, the Argosy Foundation, the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, and by a CityArts Program 1 grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.

Meanwhile, for some the 1970s Cuban strategy to �someday obtain a position, elective or appointive, somewhere in the U.S. government, which would provide the Cuban Government with access to political, economic and military intelligence� rings with a certain irony.

Given Ayers ties to Presidential frontrunner Barack Hussein Obama we can only hope that �someday� won�t be now.

Daley Predicts 1 Million At Obama Election Party

CHICAGO (STNG) ― Mayor Daley predicted Tuesday that more than a million people would descend on Grant Park for Barack Obama's election night "celebration" and said the city has no plans to screen people entering the park.

The mayor said "everybody's talking about" the Obama celebration.

"It's gonna be surprising. There's gonna be a lot of people who will want to come down and celebrate…We hope it's a million or more. It would be wonderful."

The Chicago Sun-Times reported this week that the Police Department's retired resident expert on security planning has been hired back-this time on contract—to quarterback logistics for the Obama rally.

Neil Sullivan will be paid by the city's Office of Emergency Management and Communications at a rate of $100-an-hour with a $60,000 cap.

On Tuesday, Daley called that money well-spent, even as the city is laying off 929 city employees, eliminating 1,346 vacancies raising parking and amusement taxes and hiking a number of fees to erase a $465 million shortfall.

Referring to OEMC, Daley said, "They lost two senior people just recently to other agencies. They saw fit, which I respect, to bring someone in immediately to fill that gap…That's smart, very smart. For an event like this, you need some of the experts that you want. You don't fool around with this."

Last week, Daley put a $2 million price tag on the cost of city services tied to the Obama rally and said the cash-flush Obama campaign had agreed to cover every penny because of Chicago's financial crisis.

The mayor also portrayed the Grant Park rally as a logistical challenge that would force the city to close Grant Park up to eight hours in advance, block streets, secure the CTA and "realign gas mains."

He openly acknowledged that he would have preferred a more "controlled" venue like the United Center. The Obama campaign quickly pointed out that the United Center was booked on election night with a Celine Dion concert.

Apparently concerned about putting a damper on the election night party celebrating Illinois' favorite son, Daley chose Tuesday to accentuate the positive.

He portrayed the Obama rally as a family "festival" and a "highlight for America."

"This is gonna be a wonderful festival—an event, a festival. It's gonna be a celebration," Daley said.

JERUSALEM � The Los Angeles Times has been accused of deliberately suppressing a video it says it obtained of Sen. Barack Obama attending an anti-Israel event in which he delivered a glowing testimonial for an anti-Israel professor who excuses terrorism.

Andrew C. McCarthy, chairman of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies' Center for Law & Counterterrorism, claimed in a piece today in National Review Online the Times would have jumped at the chance of making such images public if Sen. John McCain had been involved.

"Let's try a thought experiment," begins McCarthy. "Say John McCain attended a party at which known racists and terror mongers were in attendance. Say testimonials were given, including a glowing one by McCain for the benefit of the guest of honor ... who happened to be a top apologist for terrorists. Say McCain not only gave a speech but stood by, in tacit approval and solidarity, while other racists and terror mongers gave speeches that reeked of hatred for an American ally and rationalizations of terror attacks.

"Now let's say the Los Angeles Times obtained a videotape of the party.

"Question: Is there any chance � any chance � the Times would not release the tape and publish front-page story after story about the gory details, with the usual accompanying chorus of sanctimony from the oped commentariat? Is there any chance, if the Times was the least bit reluctant about publishing (remember, we're pretending here), that the rest of the mainstream media (y'know, the guys who drove Trent Lott out of his leadership position over a birthday-party toast) would not be screaming for the release of the tape?" McCarthy asked.

McCarthy was referring to videotape the Times said it obtained of Obama delivering in-person testimonial in 2003 at the farewell party of anti-Israel professor Rashid Khalidi, who at the time was departing the University of Chicago for a new teaching position at Columbia University.

In a piece last April, L.A. Times writer Peter Wallsten reported that while praising Khalidi, Obama reminisced about conversations over meals prepared by the professor's wife Mona Khalidi.

Unreported by Wallsten was that the event was sponsored by Mona Khalidi's anti-Israel Arab American Action Network, which, as WND first reported, received large sums of money from the Woods Fund, an ultra-liberal Chicago nonprofit for which Obama served as a board member alongside Weather Underground radical William Ayers.

According to a Times account of the farewell dinner, Obama said his talks with the Khalidis served as "consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. � It's for that reason that I'm hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation � a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid's dinner table," but around "this entire world."

Khalidi's farewell dinner was replete with anti-Israel speakers.

One, a young Palestinian American, recited a poem in Obama's presence that accused the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticized U.S. support of Israel, the Times reported.

Another speaker, who reportedly talked while Obama was present, compared "Zionist settlers on the West Bank" to Osama bin Laden.

In the kicker, Wallsten wrote, "The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times."

But that detail went largely unnoticed until this past weekend, when the Gateway Pundit blog made an issue of the tape.

Wallsten did not immediately return a WND e-mail and phone call seeking comment.

Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel. He has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group.

During documented speeches and public events, Khalidi has called Israel an "apartheid system in creation" and a destructive "racist" state. He has multiple times expressed support for Palestinian terror, calling suicide bombings a response to "Israeli aggression."

He dedicated his 1986 book, "Under Siege," to "those who gave their lives ... in defense of the cause of Palestine and independence of Lebanon." Critics assailed the book as excusing Palestinian terrorism.

Obama, Khalidi closely tied

According to a professor at the University of Chicago who said he has known Obama for 12 years, the Democratic presidential hopeful first befriended Khalidi when the two worked together at the university. The professor spoke on condition of anonymity. Khalidi lectured at the University of Chicago until 2003, while Obama taught law there from 1993 until his election to the Senate in 2004.

Khalidi in 2000 held what was described as a successful fundraiser for Obama's failed bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, a fact not denied by Khalidi.

Speaking in a joint interview with WND and the John Batchelor radio show, Khalidi was asked about his 2000 fundraiser for Obama.

"I was just doing my duties as a Chicago resident to help my local politician," Khalidi stated.

Khalidi said he supports Obama for president "because he is the only candidate who has expressed sympathy for the Palestinian cause."

Khalidi also lauded Obama for "saying he supports talks with Iran. If the U.S. can talk with the Soviet Union during the Cold War, there is no reason it can't talk with the Iranians."

In 2001, the Woods Fund, which describes itself as a group helping the disadvantaged, provided a $40,000 grant to Mona Khalidi's Arab American Action Network, or AAAN. The fund provided a second grant to the AAAN for $35,000 in 2002.

Speakers at AAAN dinners and events routinely have taken an anti-Israel line. The group co-sponsored a Palestinian art exhibit, titled, "The Subject of Palestine," that featured works related to what some Palestinians call the "Nakba" or "catastrophe" of Israel's founding in 1948.

Obama hijacked phrase from Khalidi?

In May, WND noted Obama termed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict a "constant sore" in an interview just five days after Khalidi wrote an opinion piece in the Nation magazine in which he called the "Palestinian question" a "running sore."

In his piece, "Palestine: Liberation Deferred," Khalidi suggests Israel carried out "ethnic cleansing" of Palestinians; writes Western powers backed Israel's establishment due to guilt of the Holocaust; laments the Palestinian Authority's stated acceptance of a Palestinian state "only" in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and eastern sections of Jerusalem; and argues Israel should be dissolved and instead a bi-national, cantonal system should be set up in which Jews and Arabs reside.

A final agreement has been reached between African Press International (API) and Fox News Network (USA) on the dates to air the Michelle Obama tape arising from a discussion Mrs Obama had with the API two weeks ago. The show will take place any day/time from now, with a 15 minutes alert on when it is to take place. Other programmes will be interrupted. This is a precaution taken to avoid interference from any quarter.

In the agreement, Fox News Network will broadcast 39 minutes of the 54 minutes long tape. The whole tape cannot be aired unedited due to security reasons and especially due to the explosive political temperature in the country because of the Presidential elections that is just around the corner, November 4th.

The tape will be aired in two portions by two separate units in the Network. API’s representative will appear live in one of the shows.

The parties have agreed that the information to be released to the public on the agreement will not include the naming of the units at Fox News Network that will air the tapes in order to avoid outside pressure and influence of any kind before the show has taken place. Nondisclosure of the name of the shows that will air the tapes has become necessary due to pressure from groups interested to block the release of the contents to the public.

Due to a huge interest in the tapes shown by some private individuals, groups belonging to some political camp(s) and persons connected to a section of an intelligence network, it has been decided that the 54 minutes long unedited tape is to be kept outside the United States in safe custody of one of API’s Lawyers based in Ontario, Canada.

The day and time schedules of the broadcast will only be announced 15 minutes before the Show begins in order to avoid attempts to block the Show from airing the tapes.

Any pressure from any outside forces that may want to know the exact day and time schedule of the Show before-hand or any other details in the agreement will get no answers to their requests either from API or Fox News Network.

The decision to have the above information public was a difficult one due to the sensitivity of the case and huge interest against, and for, the release of the contents of the tape for public consumption.

-Despite having authored two autobiographies, Obama has never written about his most important executive experience. From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.

-The CAC was the brainchild of Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s.
-Documents in the CAC archives make clear that Mr. Ayers and Obama were partners in the CAC.
- In early 1995, Obama was appointed the first chairman of the board, which handled fiscal matters. Mr. Ayers co-chaired the foundation's other key body, the "Collaborative," which shaped education policy.

-Obama has misrepresented his relationship with Ayers to the press and someone blocked access to the records detailing the workings of the group founded by Ayers and chaired by Obama.

-They met in 1990. Obama was a student at Harvard Law School and got an unsolicited job offer from Rezko, then a low-income housing developer in Chicago. Obama turned it down.

-Obama took a job in 1993 with a small Chicago law firm, Davis Miner Barnhill, that represents developers -- primarily not-for-profit groups -- building low-income housing with government funds.

-One of the firm's not-for-profit clients -- the Woodlawn Preservation and Investment Corp., co-founded by Obama's then-boss Allison Davis -- was partners with Rezko's company in a 1995 deal to convert an abandoned nursing home at 61st and Drexel into low-income apartments. Altogether, Obama spent 32 hours on the project, according to the firm. Only five hours of that came after Rezko and WPIC became partners, the firm says. The rest of the future senator's time was helping WPIC strike the deal with Rezko. Rezko's company, Rezmar Corp., also partnered with the firm's clients in four later deals
-In 1995, Obama began campaigning for a seat in the Illinois Senate. Among his earliest supporters: Rezko. Two Rezko companies donated a total of $2,000. Obama was elected in 1996 -- representing a district that included 11 of Rezko's 30 low-income housing projects.

-Rezko's low-income housing empire began crumbling in 2001, when his company stopped making mortgage payments on the old nursing home that had been converted into apartments. The state foreclosed on the building -- which was in Obama's Illinois Senate district.

-In 2003, Obama announced he was running for the U.S. Senate, and Rezko -- a member of his campaign finance committee -- held a lavish fund-raiser June 27, 2003, at his Wilmette mansion.

-A few months after Obama became a U.S. senator, he and Rezko's wife, Rita, bought adjacent pieces of property from a doctor in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood -- a deal that has dogged Obama the last two years. The doctor sold the mansion to Obama for $1.65 million -- $300,000 below the asking price. Rezko's wife paid full price -- $625,000 -- for the adjacent vacant lot. The deals closed in June 2005. Six months later, Obama paid Rezko's wife $104,500 for a strip of her land, so he could have a bigger yard. At the time, it had been widely reported that Tony Rezko was under federal investigation. Questioned later about the timing of the Rezko deal, Obama called it "boneheaded" because people might think the Rezkos had done him a favor.

-Eight months later -- in October 2006 -- Rezko was indicted on charges he solicited kickbacks from companies seeking state pension business under his friend Gov. Blagojevich. Federal prosecutors maintain that $10,000 from the alleged kickback scheme was donated to Obama's run for the U.S. Senate. Obama has given the money to charity.

-Using his elected office and his clout, Obama helped Tony Rezko and other unscrupulous low-income housing developers obtain millions of dollars in state grants, tax credits, low-interest loans, and regulatory advantages.
