Oh yeah, i forgot to add.... Tradition is the term that gay ass Jim Nantz throws around during the Masters to try to appear sophisticated.
Tradition blows.
I find it really funny.....

Exactly, if we can get people to travel to all ends of the Earth to watch MEANINGLESS(Let's be serious, the only one that matters is the big one right now) bowl games then we sure as hell can get them to playoff games that will draw so much media buzz that you would think nobody knew the Pats/Colts were playing before that game started. Do we seriously think Central Michigan has this mass following that goes to their bowl games?totally agree.
if you think about it, bowl games no matter what will draw audience.
even furnituregallery.com bowls etc... LOL
mostly due to local economy, and people travelling for their schools, all the bowl games are during Christmas/New Year's break so I don't get the bitching either. College kids dont need an extensive excuse for a road tripLeave a comment:

:bang: .....don't get me started on that.....WTF they always have to make him from ohio state is beyond me.........:bang:FF, is keanu reeves an OSU alum or what?
watching "the replacements" on TBS right now, lol and he's playing Shane Falco from Ohio State who "fcked up" in the Sugar Bowl.
I remember he also played Johnny Utah from Ohio State who "fcked up his knee" in the Sugar Bowl as well, as Patrick Swayze mentioned this I think in "point break."
you'd think an alum or OSU fan at the very least would cast himself in a better light in fantasy hollywood scripts, and not always "choking" in the Sugar Bowl lol

totally agree...i mean OSU has enough alumni in about every city to fill games no matter where they were played and the same goes for a lot of teams. I am absolutely flabbergasted (great word..lol) when i go some of these places for games and see the amount of buckeyes. I mean, at Washington this year, i was told by several husky fans that outside of Oregon fans who make the drive up, they couldn't remember any visiting team with that many fans in their stadium.totally agree.

The argument is always that teams "won't know where they are playing" so tickets and logistics are difficult. Especially getting tickets into the hands of people and deciding who gets what tickets.Leave a comment:

totally agree.I still don't understand that or the fact that "people won't travel during a playoff." The other bowls can still be kept and the playoff games can all have bowl names. And don't give me "people will care less about the lesser bowls then" because, in reality, who gives a **** about 90% of those bowls anyway? Are we really that worried that people won't care what Middle Tennessee State and Navy do on Dec. 13? Give me a break. And people WILL travel to playoff games, as people that live in the area of each bowl will attend the playoff games. College football gets a large enough draw to have that happen. And if that is the real worry, then why not have the first round or two at the higher seed's home field, and still let Blowjobs.com put their name on the game?
And don't cite tradition either because tradition went out the window long ago. Having Big 12 and SEC teams play in the Rose Bowl is awesome tradition.....
