How do you people not get this.... its a mathematical equation. The strength of wins and losses are factored in... georgia isn't the "#3 sec team" like alot of you are saying... thats absurd.

dont get me wrong FF.... Georgia's schedule trumps pretty much anyone in contention right now (other than LSU)..... its not even close..... they played 7 teams that were ranked at one point or another this season.... its the principle..... deep down i believe that to be considered for the NC you must win your conference

don't forget about 1 loss KU sitting at 5 who played nobody, lost to the only half way decent team they played and didn't even win its half of the conference....less deserving that UGA IMO

    here is my prediction....

    1) OSU

    2) LSU (because voters will say LSU beat VTECH)

    3) VTECH

    4) UGA

    5) USC

    6) OKLA

    7) KU

i think it is going to actually hurt KU and UGA by not having played and USC and LSU and VTECH winning today

Then again, you still have to play your conference games and win them all.

No offense to UGA fans, but if they get in the title game, it's horrendous, IMO.

They didn't even win their conference.

Oklahoma, LSU, VA Tech and USC are all more deserving (assuming Oklahoma holds on here). At least they all won their conference....even if the ACC is the crappiest BCS conference in the history of football.

I really don't even care that Georgia was supposedly the #3 sec team... F that. LSU is the most hyped team in the country, they were incredibly unimpressive today and won so many close games it's ridiculous. They barely escaped against Florida.

Virginia tech honestly should be in, they pretty much beat BC the first game. HAd they really beat them, there'd be little question.
i think it will come down to the voters..... will they leapfrog OK or VATECH or LSU? If either one of those teams is ranked #2, then the BCS will probably also put them at 2
