    Also one unit on

    Boston Red Sox (Lackey) +125

    Don't like betting on Lackey, but don't like this line at all. Shields having Cy-Young caliber year and Lackey is a supposed-gas can. Yet this line-up for Boston can produce against anyone. Again really not liking this line, so going with the hotter offense here.

        Rest of the night:

        Baltimore Orioles (Simon) +100 for one unit. Crappy team on a bad losing streak, but Carlos Carrasco has severe control issues. I'm wondering why this line is not bigger.

        Minnesota Twins (Pavano) -140 for one unit. Like I said in the other thread... Pavano doing well, Francis not. Two teams going the other way.

                    Nice little 3-2 day up 1.15 units thanks to the Giants comeback. Bet Humber because he was on my fantasy team so I don't mind losing that but not sure why I backed the Jays with Villaneuva... not an outstanding pitcher to be sure! Monday = new day, new week.

                        Monday:

                        New York Yankees (Burnett) -150 for two units. Just don't see the Rays doing much today after that long game last night where they used nine pitchers... meanwhile the Yankees' Hughes cruised through six solid innings and their BP faced the minimum nine batters (three each).

                        I don't like backing Burnett, but I think he and the bats step it up today versus the rookie Alex Cobb.

                            Phew. What a sweat. Cobb kicked some ass tonight and the call-up from the minors and pitched well but was put in a terrible situation vs the Yanks. :thumbs:

                                Tuesday:

                                Milwaukee Brewers (Gallardo) -135

                                Texas Rangers RL +120

                                All for one unit. Hoping Gallardo returns to form after two crappy outings. Even though Enright pitched well back in May, this will be his first start since being sent down afterwards. Alexi Ogando is a stud and Tyler Chatwood is not. Just avoiding juice here though because I picked up Ogando up on my fantasy team and I'm superstitious.

                                    Adding:

                                    TOR/SEA o7.5 +105 - first off Cecil stinks. Second off, though Pineda has been doing well in the first half - I defintely see him regressing. Thirdly, this is the second time this season that Toronto has seen him, and fourthly Bautista is back. Everything here says the under is the play, but I'm going against the grain here.

                                        Cincinnati Reds -130 - Cincy struggling, and Karstens one of the hottest pitchers. But Cueto's numbers vs the Pirates are great, while Karsterns vs Reds are not. Cincy trying to avoid the sweep. Square play this morning for one unit.
