We have a lot of posters here that have their own cliques. Please make sure that when you joke with someone, they are a bud of yours. This has caused probs in the past and even tho we knew you were joking, sometimes the poster that some were joking with did'nt see it that way and it turned into a pissing match and wasn't pretty.

Please do not clutter up the sports forums with needless threads. In the next few months, we expect that there will be so many cappers here that it will take up the whole page. General Discussion is there for a reason.

If a new guy asks a question, help him out. Hes a new guy for cryin' out loud. His questions might be stupid to you, but I ain't forgot that I was a newbie at one time myself. They could very well end up being better cappers than alot of us with the right tutilage.

If you want to **** with your buds and call them a mthrfkr or bassard or something, make sure your his/her bud.

This is your forum, do as you please. Just don't hurt no one in the process. I recommend that you post your record of your plays in your picks thread. But you do not have to.

If you have been drinking and you know that your an ******* when you drink, take a break from posting till you feel better. LMFAO and boy do we have a bunch of drunks in this joint. Do not post a line of your local with your play unless it is the same as the offshore line. Manipulations of lines to make yourself win to look good will not be tolerated. If you have to go Free Sports Picks Monitor - Football Office Pools to get a line, do so. But no more being two or three pts off the real line. I don't care who you are. If your a punk kid trying to be a man, you'll need to go to a punk kid forum, this ain't it.

Do not start a thread to tell everyone you won a bet. You therefore fall into the punk kid category.

All signs point to USC. And if the line moved to -12.5 tommorow morning, I would be all over USC. But right now I'd be whilling to take Neb at +7. I have had lots of success recently betting on what the bookies know that I have no clue on.

Example:

Baseball game opened at 7.5 (total), good pitchers, bad hitters, etc. I bet the Under. Line moves to 7.5 -120, I will bet even more on the under. But if the line moved to, God forbit, 8.0, heck the Over 7.5 becomes solid and that means Over 8.0 is intact. I wouldn't be happy about that. And usually it's a horrible beat that occurs... eg: It's 5-1 for the home team in the 9th with 2 Outs, nobody on... Walk, Error, strike 1, strike 2, HOME RUN. One way or another, the books are always right.

I won't touch this game money wise but I would advise everyone on the forums to lay off USC. I GUARANTEE YOU Nebraska will cover in a dirty way (USC will fumble inside the 5, miss a 20 Yard FG, have a TD overturned by a penalty or some gay **** like that and win by 6).

following the line movement isn't a new concept but if you're going to do it don't bet till late when you can confirm which line movements legit. I know at least a couple cappers personally who got to the usc line when it opened and got it at -4. Imagine the big money coming to push the line to where it currently sits, a buy back at -10 or wherever its been the last couple days is hardly reason to believe the trojans dont cover it, it could just as easily been big or smart money buying a middle opportunity or a blip and the line takes off again once the thursday games get done or whatever. Line movement should just be another tool in your capping repetoire not the sole reason to make a play.

I think you guys piled all over this post for some deservedly poor comments, but I do agree with the play and the logic regarding line movement.

I see, however, that the line opened at 9 or 9.5 in most places.

Ok. First, my thoughts are this:

Both teams are head on for the number 1 spot in the nation, both are playing awful teams, both will take this opportunity to gain popularity by playing not against their respective opponents but against each other (as in who will win by a bigger margin). Usually these kind of scenarios work out well. Oklahoma won 79-10 last time they were in this spot and by 38 vs. Miami (FL), NOT an awful team mind you. I think they are still steaming from that Fiesta Bowl loss.

59-7 Oklahoma

LSU won 45-0 and by 41 against a fairly strong VA-Tech team. They can score once every 7:30 and it'll be enough 'cause MT ain't scoring on this LSU defence. They got their satisfaction by hanging 42 on UL.

48-3 LSU

And since both of these top teams have easy blowouts ahead, USC will try to win in an impressive fashion too.

2nd: Yes I have money on these games. Just wanted to know public opinion. As for the backdoor, Oklahoma will be up by enough (with scores on offence and defence) that a backdoor TD wouldn't hurt. And backdoor or not, nobody's touching LSU in their backyard!

Don't you people know how/why the lines move? Everyone here seems to be all over USC, USC is one of the most popular teams in the nation and they are playing on national television Saturday night. Lots of people are betting them. The line should move to 11 or something yet it's move the other way signifies some SHARP HEAVY action on Neb.

I am not touching this game.

As for Leinart, Bush, White, yes they have been out since over a year... and USC did not get nearly as many blowout wins as they did back in 2004 and 2005. Now as -10 road favorites being faded by the sharps... tsk tsk.

The line just moved from -10 to -9.5. Looks like Nebraska can win it outright. USC is way over-rated. No Leinart, Bush or White. I don't think they will make top 10 this year. Unless they win all their games in a sloppy way (small margin of victory) and they just give it to 'em (BECAUSE they're USC).
