Sorry for the late reply...

I have ZERO problem with a guy buying points. It needs to be stated though and a proper record + proper units needs to be posted.

A guy could potentially have a record of 9-6 and be +0.00 because he laid -150 on every game.

Point buying is legit and some guys are really good at it.

It's not a great long term plan because in theory, the juice will eat you alive.

There are exceptions to the rule of course. I once saw a guy go 40-8 in college hoops buying -4 points and laying -190 on home favs of -6. He made over 25 units doing this.

I've seen some VERY sharp teaser players as well. You may very well be a winner.

There's a solution to the gripe that people have:

1. Post your picks.

2. Post how many points you bought on your line.

3. Post how much it cost to buy those points (odds/juice)

4. Keep a detailed record of your wins/losses along with your +/- units.

Once you do that, people wont be so upset.
