On the same plays for Baltimore and Zona Underdogg... Don't worry about the start, you will get it turned around and be cleaning up just like last season on that "old site"... Best of luck too us, lets cash'em in!
Ran out of time to do a writeup, but the Ravens play is a play against the weak run D of Cincy. I leaned to the over in that as well, but IMO if the Ravens lose it goes under. Value play on Zona, wouldn't lay chalk in that game. Total play is on (hopefully) better defense on both sides, & more running than you'd expect. I'll throwe some predictions out there for S & G. 27-17 Ravens, 23-20 Zona.
thanks, just hit 9.5! hopefully goes back to 9. i can understand not betting against your team, i dont bet against the gmen although with a weak rushing attack and no defense it will be hard for me not to fade tham at times this year. this steelers game sure looks like a 34-16 type game tho
BoKnows- Thanks! That's something the beginning gambler doesn't realize... you can't look back. Things have a way of evening out- hell I was +17 units from Thursday to Saturday in CFB, so it's not like I'm picking up cans in vacant parking lots.
Beholdah- I think it's a good play. The Bills secondary is in shambles. They couldn't stop the run at home, & I don't see how they will be able to stop it in a hostile environment. Willie Parker scares me more than Henry did.... If the Steelers O-line holds up, Big Ben will have whatever he wants downfield- Buffalo's secondary is depleted & inexperienced. I had the most faith in McGee @ corner, but truth be told he got burned worst one out there. Offensively, the Bills only mustered 1 td & 72 yards passing. IMO JP had time to throw, but the WR couldn't get open (or JP couldn't find them, but I lean to the former). Lynch was the only bright spot, but I have a problem with some things he did. I'm very concerned about his ability to pick up the blitz vs. Pitt, as he missed a couple key blocks yesterday. That's something IMO he'll grow at, but not overnight. Another knock on him is that he doesn't like to go up the middle, but he is definitely gold in the open field. The Bills may be able to win on the road vs. questionable defenses with a poor running game, but I don't think they can win @ Pitt. I don't like to play against my team too much though...
tough week udogg, you know you'll get it back and then some tho. that giants game was just tough break after tough break for the gmen. im a giants fan, our defense proved to be utter garbage but i was so impressed with Eli. i tohught he played a near flawless game. that interception wasnt his fault either, burress slipped on a curl pattern and the ball would have been on the money.
on another note, you gonna jump on that steelers-9 early? it opened at 8.5 and is at 9 now, i see it only going up from here, you watched the bills game right? i know you said they seem to have alot of issues. let me know dogg scream at me
it's not the end of the world... Long season, & today is a new day.
If your a gambler this needs to be your motto as the pendulum is always swinging. Keep up the strong work the pendulum is a coming back your way, and to hell with the rest!:beerbang: Oh did I mention "F-OFF"Entremenuer!
E Pimp- way off bro, I ended up 7-15 -14.65 units
Thanks Horfy (LMAO!) & Stif... probably the worst start to a season ever for me, but it's not the end of the world... Long season, & today is a new day.
Thoughts so far
Teams to fade or leave alone- Raiders, Falcons & Browns
Teams to play on or leave alone- Patriots, Colts
I wasn't impressed with the Chargers on either side of the ball. I know they were facing a good D in the Bears, but the o-line really didn't look so hot to me. Sure, they'll beat up on lesser opponents, but against the top AFC teams, I still think they'll struggle. Is it just me, or does Rivers have a weak arm? I'm not saying he's bad, but I think he tends to float the ball in there... Seems to me that the Bears were able to hit open recievers a bit too easily.
Turnovers on special teams cost Philly the game. GB does have a better than average D, but I don't think it's time to panic in Philly quite yet. That division will be a battle all season. I think Dallas is overrated, I was right in the assumption that their secondary is suspect. Messing with the total in that game was a big mistake on my part. They will lose to teams with a good enough D to hold them under 23 pts IMO. The Giants secondary is even worse... Eli played a great game IMO, he made smart decisions while under pressure, & was let down by dropped balls. Toomer should have had that catch in the back of the endzone, that was just a pretty pass.
I'll have more thoughts on matchups for week 2, I'll be back with thoughts on tonight...

Yeah, that sh*t pisses me off, its unfortunate that deuschebags like this exist in the world today.
******* tools who sit there behind the computer his mommy got from Rent-A-Center, with no idea how to come up with a winner on their own, yet find the time to make stupid comments to a guy who wins posts winners in every sport he plays, and wins hundreds of units in the time he's been posting here, as soon as he has a bad day or two.
What it all boils down to, is that this douche wishes he could come up with the winners U-dog does, wishes he had any money to bet on them, and wishes he had people think highly of him.
