here is the beauty of a discussion thread.....the 1 game i was on the fence on and leaning to CAL.....i saw enough VAN support that i decided to lay off the game and it looks like a good move. went with the SAN play only instead.......

would be nice to get one of these going every day....

nice call on VAN Ang....:thumbs:....i forget what a mess CAL is to start the season and on the road......almost like you need a first week refresher course to remember all the NHL trends

Discussion thread good for you, bad for me. VAN was going to be my only play but with everyone on DET, I figured I might as well give it a shot too... :bang:

i never back off a play i really like no matter what. but marginal plays i always want to see if there is something i am missing. trying not to put marginal plays on my card this year was one of my big goals. i thought DET was worth a play and i was willing to play COL at home who has been good there......and i think ANA isn't going to be as good as everyone thinks......and i like SAN this year with a new feeling/image/coach/players etc.....so CAL was marginal and it didn't make the cut. but i didn't necessarily want VAN until i see them play some.....

yeah and typical keenan calgary flames team.......especially early in the year....another lesson i forgot but at least didn't have to pay with my money to relearn it....lol
