Also - and I probably speak for a lot of us relatively n00b cappers on here, but I am kind of curious about how you developed yourself as a capper? Do you have a particular style? Any tips for those of us just starting out? (Besides ditching Bodog and switching to Sportsbook)

Any advice/guidance you can give would be tremendously appreciated.

Cheers again, it has been a pleasure playing the World Cup with you! Lets keep it going this fall!

    Ram, Prime.. thanks fellas! :beerbang:

I do have a particular style. When the league games are in full bloom, you often have the option of betting over 400 games that take place in the span on 24 hours. When it comes to league games, I am a very safe bettor. I spend all my time sniffing out lines that are around -200 to -400 that should really be hovering around -1000 to -1500. These are few, and far between in the EPL, Serie A, La Liga, ect.. but are an extremely common occurrence with smaller leagues. I like to play a lot of chalk when it comes to full game 3-way lines.

Also looking for busted up totals. Such as the Australian game I played about a week back. The bottom line is, the books set out totals for the smaller leagues almost identical to the avg of goals for the 2 teams, and adjust the juice accordingly. The best thing about that, is you have an extremely low volume of money coming in on the total, so there are no sharps pounding it, moving the line.

Another big thing is, seeing where the money is going on specific sites. There are many Asian books that are important to keeps tabs on, seeing where the money is moving at certain times. Especially for certain leagues.

If you ever have any questions about anything, i'd be glad to help you out.

I need some karma on Sneijder.....at the start of the WC I played Sneijder to win the Golden Boot, risk 1 unit to win 100. Can't believe he's got a shot to hit it....

I don't really cap anything else but soccer. I primarily play small European, Asian, and Australian leagues. Mostly to take advantage of lines that are set wrong. On occasion, i'll play the larger Euro leagues, but my bread & butter are the small leagues.

Despite being a huge fan of the NFL/MLB/and NCAA sports, I don't feel i'm qualified, or good enough to hit in the 60-70+% range. Whenever I play those sports, i'm usually tailing someone else in the forums.

    I appreciate the support! :beerbang:

That's it, guys. Thanks for all your support, and hopefully you all made some good money with me!

I'll be doing another "Road To $20,000/$30,000" when all the leagues start up again. I'll be starting with $2,000/$3,000 again, but it will be a 5-6 month grind, as I will not be allowed to place many over the limit wagers like in the WC.

Cheers to everyone, on a massive success. I appreciate all of your comments, and insight.

I hope all of you new members stick around, and hopefully all you regular MLB/NFL/NBA/NCAA junkies stick around as well. Predictem' has some of the best cappers on the web, and hopefully we can keep a nice jolt going in the soccer forum.

Hitting the +1600 would have capped off the world cup for me but thats the way she goes I guess.

For the record, who do you think wins tomorrow?
That's brutal missing out on that +1600. The Dutch's discipline is very limited. They love to celebrate prematurely, and are always receiving scares when up by more than a goal in the final minutes.

I'm not sure who wins tomorrow. But I highly recommend taking the winner of tomorrows game vs. The Netherlands in the final. Neither team will look impressive tomorrow, and almost cancel each other out I expect.

So yeah, barring any injuries tomorrow, I think you have your winner of 2010 by the end of the day.

Thanks man! BOL to you the rest of the way! :beerbang:

    Uruguay 2-3 Netherlands FT +$3,000

That last goal was completely unnecessary.
