I like Argentina to win here, but i'm getting a terrible vibe from this game. Messi's Barca form just hasn't translated to international play, and feel something flukey from this one. Argentina -260 is the best line I can get, and it's just not worth it. Nigeria +1.5 (-145) is ALMOST tempting, but meh. No play on this one. Enjoy the game!

Quick facts:
England 35 goals in last 13 matches. Although 6 of those goals are from the match against Andorra, it's no secret that England has the class to put balls in at will. Out of the 6 games with significant impact (WC Quals), they have scored 20 goals in total. - Everything I stated it hogwash though. The bottom line is, this team can score goals.

The USA D has been terrible. Even though they were friendlies, you don't want to be letting goals in by bunches heading into the WC. The USA has gone 10 straight matches conceding. I would be larger if they haden't plugged up Trinidad and Tobago.

In their last 5 Quals, the USA has allowed 7 goals.
-2 to Mexico in Mexico
-2 to Costa Rica
-2 to Honduras
-1 to El Salvador
-Blanked Trinidad & Tobago

They are one of the most vulnerable teams in WC in the back IMO.

The USA finally broke their streak of letting in at least 2 goals for 5 games against Turkey, shutting them out in the 2nd half. Same with Australia. Sadly, England is not on the level of either of those teams.

History suggests the USA lets in at LEAST a goal in the 1H here. I personally think England wins this bet in the first 45. If they need another half to do it, so be it. Hell, even if they don't net on 1H, they should still pop 2.

I would play the over, although the uncertainty of the US getting a goal worries me.

10/10 play for me. I would bump up my bet very large for this one, although the limit is $500 at sportsbook, and they have denied my request for an over the limit wager.

Regarding my last play.. just to note, i'm not really a trend guy. But those just can't be ignored.

The books are getting swarmed with public money being layed on the USA. For this match, to qualify, and to win the whole thing. Only reason such a gift of a line is out there.

One of the "experts" here said it best himself in his preview.

"I will be betting on the USA since I have to go with my heart and my team, but my brain says that England will win thin match"

I think this is the approach of all USA bettors. Either that, or they were made false believers out of the Confed Cup.

IMO the USA will struggle to keep along, or flat out get bombed away. Regardless, conceding at least 2 to Englands seems inevitable.

That's what's called an asian handicap. Bet like that would follow as:

England -1, -1 1/2 (+125) Meaning they split your bet up in 2 halfs. If England wins by 2 or more, you win your entire bet.

If England wins by 1, you lose half your money, and the other half of the bet is returned.
