Shouldn't really come as a surprise considering the disallowed goal to England yesterday, the allowed goal for Argentina where the guy was like 5 yards offsides, the few red cards earlier in the tournament that allowed teams with little to no chance to even draw to pick up 3 point wins, the 2 disallowed goals to USA, etc etc

My question, as a casual sports fan who has been watching this World Cup since it's on, rather than someone who is familiar with watching soccer often.....is officiating always this piss poor in soccer?

I thought the NBA had officiating issues, but this has been much worse, imho
