Indiana Fever at Chicago Sky
Caitlin Clark is in my Dog House.
But, with a shot at redemption.
I got home yesterday, turned on the tube and saw the Indiana/New York game was just about to tip off.
I thought it was going to be a high scoring game so I took Over 178′.
And to keep me interested throughout four quarters I bet a prop – Clark over 21′ points.
She’s sitting at 21 with about 28 seconds left in the game. The combined score is going to surpass 200 so I’ve already got a winner in my pocket on the Over.
But I’m going to lose the Clark prop.
By the hook.
Unless she gets fouled.
And – she does.
She’s going to the free-throw line to shoot two!
I’m saved!
NOT!
She misses BOTH!
B*itch.
And now I have to go and apologize to the lady next door because there’s no way she didn’t hear me yelling at my TV, calling Clark every slang word for a promiscuous woman, as well as alternative words for a woman’s private part.
But, Clark has a shot at redemption today for screwing me yesterday, a chance to get out of my Dog House when the Fever take on the Sky.
How?
Because of the keywords in the previous sentence.
She screwed me “YESTERDAY.”
She has a chance at redemption “TODAY.”
Yes, the Fever are in Game Two of B2B’s.
Let’s review the numbers for betting the Over in this spot.
2024: 18-12, 60%
2025: 17-6, 73%
And now this season, 2026, 12-2, 85%.
Combined record, three seasons: 47-20, 70%.
I stayed off the spot the last time it was active, with Toronto/Washington. And despite a nine-point quarter by the Tempo the game still managed to go Over.
The Fever have been in the Game Two of B2B’s spot twice this season.
Both games have gone Over.
They’ve been in the spot where the sequence was AA, meaning Away-Away, both games on the road.
On July 8th they lost SU and ATS at LA.
The following night their game at Phoenix went Over by Double Digits.
They lost SU and ATS to NY last night.
Today they play at Chicago.
The game opened at 187′ and has been bet down to 186′. As always when the line is moving in my direction I’ll wait a little bit before buying this one.
Tip-off’s not until 4:00 p.m. EST.
These two have met twice this season and the scores came in at 176 and 196 (196 at the end of regulation.)
Three of Indy’s last five have surpassed today’s total.
ZERO of Chicago’s last five have surpassed today’s number but despite that stat I’m sticking with the B2B Over spot.
My play:
Indiana/Chi Un (wait to buy)
Recap: 1-0
Record: 27-24
Review:
Banked a W with over 177′ with Atl/LV when the game landed on 179.
