Predictem is Hiring

We appreciate your interest in writing for!

We’re looking for passionate, but unbiased sports fanatics/freelance writers to produce game previews for NFL, college football, NBA, college basketball, MLB, and Golf. We prefer that you stick to teams within your region as people are more knowledgeable about events going on around them.

Too many game preview writers waste 3/4 of an article talking about what happened in the past. That’s not stimulating content. Our readers already know this, as everybody watches game highlights. We’re looking for articles breaking down an upcoming game, explaining to our readers how you think the game will play out and why, supporting your opinions using stats, facts, mismatches, coaching styles, etc. (Not just baseless opinions).  There are tons of websites spewing garbage. We’re striving to offer top quality content to our readers. Are you up to the challenge?

Suitable candidates need to have unbiased opinions, not pick all favorites, be familiar with betting odds and different bet types (sides, totals, money lines) and get their point across clearly.

Requirements: Submissions must be proofread before submitting, have proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. You must have knowledge of how paragraphs work. Potential candidates must be available to work evenings/weekends. Must be able to meet strict deadlines and provide a quick turnaround time. You must be dependable. Your work must be 100% unique and can only be published on our website.

You are given the freedom to write about a game as you see fit, but will also need to work within a template we provide.

Experience is preferred but not required. Please send us a link to any published work you’ve created. If you haven’t published any pieces online, you’ll need to submit an example piece of betting-related news or a game preview giving a pick on why one team will win/cover the spread vs. their opponent.

Compensation: $12 per article to start. Articles must be at least 750 words (more is preferred). Generally speaking, if you’re well versed in the sport you’re covering these pieces take 30-45 minutes (or less) to produce. Those providing longer quality articles will receive more work opportunities. We’re also interested in those able to produce tips/strategy articles that are interesting to those new to sports betting. We’re also interested in advanced handicapping articles. Pay is negotiable. Paychecks are sent electronically (to your checking account) by the 20th of each month.

This is a part-time/work-from-home gig/job. This is not a get rich quick job or a gig that you’ll be able to support yourself with. This job is best suited for stay-at-home dads, college students, and English teachers who have the skill set to write an article correctly.

To be considered to write for us, please send us the following:

An email as lengthy as possible on why we should hire you. The more the merrier!

A link to your published work OR a test piece as noted above.
